Plotty 2
What is Plotty v2?
Plotty v2 is a plot management plugin made for InfinitePlots. The plugin requires WorldGuard for the protection of plots. Plotty v1 is the version that I made before this which was buggy, had a bad way of storing data and was generally not the best of plugins. Plotty v2 is a completely re-written and re-thought version with some cool new features and a lot less bugs.
Features
- Full plot protection
- Automatic plot finding OR manual plot finding (with /plot claim)
- Plot voting system
- Global list (with plot opt-out feature)
- Plot friends
- Built-in teleportation system
- & many, many more features.
Statistics
Plotty uses MCStats' MetricsLite to collect information and statistics about the plugin. Credit for this goes to Hidendra who allows for use of this in plugins. To find out more, visit http:mcstats.org. You can opt-out at any time. To opt-out, navigate to /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml and change "opt-out" to true.
Plotty v1.x Migration
To migrate plots from Plotty v1.x, copy all the old Plotty configs to plugins/Plotty and use the command "/plot migrate" when standing in a plots world. If the world configured in the old config exists, Plotty v2 will put migrated plots there. Otherwise, it will use the first world configured in plots.json (see Setup).

Dying for a programer to do this type of plot placement.
1. Anyway you could add vault support to this. Or place a cost by size limit configurable. Also a tax rate configurable. 2. Also I love the Influence area between plots. Anyway to make this configurable like 3 or 7 blocks between plots sizes. This way its managble. And a amount of plots that are allowed per player limit. Or by Cost. Maybe
3. Anyway to make this a configurable item. And by this I mean in the config maybe an item ID line. This way players could purchase this item lets say from a vendor and they run out to wherever they want to lay down plot and they use the item and it tells them if its allowed or not and if its allowed then it places plot and removes item.
Or maybe a config that allows for presetup plot sizes like 32x33 or other sizes and configurable up and down limits.Also having a cost placement in config. This way the Admin could setup a shop and players could look at a purchasable list of houses and sizes that are preset and purchase the one they want and get item and go out and place it and it removes cost and item on placement of plot.
See if its an item it could be stolen by theiving or on death or this could be configurable also by admin to either allow for this or not.
Schematic Another idea would be to add in config to the above a way to add a schematic of an already built type of house or building that its in the config when its purchased for that style of home of building. SO when they place the plot it removes item and places the home/building schematic and removes cost. This way the Admin could set up a schematic size add it to a configurable plot size he knows it would fit on allowing for influence zone and let them purchase this template size and type of home/building per plot size.
I know its alot but I still to this day have not found a plot placement system that allows for any of these ideas in one package. All of them seem to want to give them any size they want instead of a base size preconfigurable by Admin but allow for them to place it where ever they want to instead of being plots that are already setup in world to purchase..? I like this adea also but then I also would like to restrict some areas or players to other type of house placement.
Just a thought Thanks for listening.

So what I don't understand is, how am I supposed to stop people from destroying the roads in between the plots if they are not protected? everything else works great.
Can I change the plot size per world? I want to make two worlds where some people have access to a 64X64 plot world and some have access to a 16X16 plot world. Is there a way to make it so I can have different plot sizes for different worlds?
So this is messed up. Plotty uses 6 spaces between each region/plot BUT InfinitePlots creates a path of only 5 (7 with the fences) blocks width so that will never work together. Cause there is no config option for that I'd like to see a fix. Thanks already!
Migrate from plotme?
i would love to use this plugin because it works great its just that it conflicts with towny is it possible to get a version of this that uses /plotty rather than /plot?
@Daviga404
It's interesting because clearing plots and deleting plots usually works, it's just there are times when it does freeze the server long enough for Spigot to kill it.
Edit: Also, it could be because my plots are 100x100 so there's a lot to clear. Maybe use the data of what the layers are to kind of.. undo what players have done rather than a "paste from worldedit" style thing. Just an idea.
@WizardCM
If you have
clearOnDelete
set to true then the plots will clear every time they are deleted. On less powerful servers, this can cause a lot of lag due to all of the blocks being updated and even crash it in some cases. Try setting
clearOnDelete
to false in the config.
Regarding the plot deletion bug, when you do /region list do you see all of the plot regions (prefixed with "plot_")? It may simply be that the plugin needs to be updated to work with the current version of WorldGuard, in which case I'll update it.
@rickvanloe13
Are there errors in the console? Do you have all of the required plugins?
@arkd
Plotty 2 does not prevent block placing, it makes WorldGuard regions which prevent block placing.
An issue that has started building on my server; If a player uses /plot del the server freezes then crashes.
Edit: Issue Number Two:
When a plot is deleted, Plotty 2 cannot detect the region, and therefore doesn't delete it.
Whatever i try, i do not get a config in my plugin folder. And in minecraft itself are dashes trough all the commands, it just wont work. PLEASE HELP!!
i was unable to place blocks on the plot world i created until i removed plotty 2, any ideas?
@supertolerator
What are the console error messages? Do you have all of the required plugins?
I just downloaded plotty 2 and whenever i try to get a new plot, it says, "An internal error occurred, Check your console for error messages" What is the problem?? :(
@miow22
Economy integration is actually planned in the next update :3
Wow, crazy. This is great. Can I ask can you make people pay for the plots? & furthermore, pay on rent?
@Daviga404
Thanks for getting back to me, I look forward to the next release. ^_^
@Candlelily
This may be a bug, I will have a look into it and hopefully fix it in the next release. Thank you for notifying me.
