NoDupeIP
NoDupeIP
What It Does
This plugin binds the player's username to his IP. This can be very useful when griefers are trying to connect with ALTs. For best protection, use MaxBans with "DnsBL" enabled in the configuration (it prevents known proxies to join the server).Commands & Permissions
At the moment, there are 2 commands:/nodupeip - Administrator commands that reload the plugin (will implement config editing in later versions). Permission: nodupeip.admin
/ip [username] - Allows you to see a player's IP address. Permission: nodupeip.checkip
Commandless permissions:
nodupeip.notify - Notifies the player when somebody tries to join with a changed username.
Configuration
configversion: DO NOT TOUCH! The config will reset!
ignore-premium: Not implemented yet.
ignore-ip: Ignored IP list separated by dashes instead of dots.
user-list: Usernames are binded to their IPs here.

@ZwPBerserk
Feature not yet implemented and takes a long time to do. Fortunately, I'm almost finished with it.
That ignore-premium option sounds promising.
@RobinHood999
Permissions won't quite work - if you give someone a permission, anyone will be able to connect as that person. You can use the IP whitelist.
Hey ThaPengwin!
Great work on this plugin! I was wondering if you could add a permission to give an exception to certain people? I want people I trust to be able to use Alts. Thanks.
@abalabahaha
Well, until (s)he uses grammar, we'll never know.
@ThaPengwin
I think he meants WebUI and something that like contacts (emails) you to confirm that you are on a new IP, then allows the new IP
I Think
Fixed a CRITICAL issue! If you use v0.2 DOWNLOAD IT RIGHT NOW!
Oh finally, v0.2 is out.
Oh my god, BukkitDev staff are SO SLOW while approving stuff... Either get more staff or get more efficient ones, Bukkit!
Uploaded the new version! Added Ignored IPs and fixed the player online after kick bug!
@abalabahaha I understood that he meant web UI, but didn't understand what he wanted to do with it.
@ThaPengwin
I think he means Web UI
Next update will add support for ignored IPs and fix the bug where the player is shown as online, even though he's not.
@broluigi
What do you mean?
is there some way to make a online thing like dynmap but instead saves your IP and makes sure your the character ingame and then changes the IP if you need it?
@Duncan3242
Then you can add their IP to the "Ignored IP" list (to be implemented) or just allow them to use a proxy.
Yeah, but what if two people are in the same house, and they both use same internet, and both play minecraft......
