What now?
NoCheat 3.5.0 no longer works with recent CraftBukkit build and you will no longer get any updates or support from me anymore.

Replacements for NoCheat
Check out these plugins.
NoCheat+
It is based on NoCheat's code and is therefore similar in how it works. But it also adds a ton of new features. You can find it HERE.
NoCheat Classic
It is the original NoCheat without any modifications beyond what is necessary to make it work on modern CraftBukkit versions. If you like NoCheat exactly the way it is, this may be what you are looking for. You can find it HERE.
AntiCheat
Is a new plugin that's built from scratch. That means it will behave and feel different to NoCheat. I'm sure the developer appreciates new users and bug reports. Get it HERE.
Make your own
Don't like the presented alternatives? You may just create your own plugin instead. The source code for NoCheat is HERE.

I've marked it as inactive because *I* won't add to it anything new anymore. I've not decided what I'll do with NoPwnage. I want to make at least one more update to it, but haven't found time and motivation for that yet. It's also a very low maintainance plugin (there isn't much that can break) and the userbase is small, so I'll probably just keep it.

Not sure what you mean with "it" related to selling. I don't sell plugins, I write custom plugins (when I have time) for money now. If that's related to the private "NoCheat" version that people keep mentioning and asking about (on skype, email), it doesn't exist. I've exactly the same NoCheat version as the one that you can download here.

Yes, someone did take up the source. Yes, the plugin will soon be released by others under a new name, new management, etc. Once it is released, I'll make sure to write it into this description and make a comment about it.

Are you planning on letting anybody take control of the Nocheat plugin? Or is it just going to die out? :/ I'm positive everyone that uses your plugin respects all the hard work you have put into it, it's just that it's going to be catastrophic if this plugin just disappears. I really hope there's someone out there that will continue to develop this one of a kind plugin. It really is the best anti hack/mod plugin I have ever experienced. Let us know and keep us updated!

Loads fine for me. If you get error messages during startup, the NoCheat.jar file may be corrupted and redownloading it usually fixes that.
