MuteMan
MuteMan
Time based mute system: mute\unmute players, forever or some time. Add some permissions to muted users (and bring them back when unmute), or add some group to him (only for PermissionsEx!). Wrote swear list and plugin will damage players when they use this words, and if they dont stop - just mutes they.
Features:
- Time based
- Permissions
- Override Commandbook /mute and use his permissions (you dont need to add new permissions)
- Anti-Swear system
- Add some permissions to muted users or bring him to another group (PermissionsEx support only!)
- Change ingame messages in file
- Pretty customizable by configs
Commands:
Command | Description | Node | |
---|---|---|---|
1 | /mute (player) (time) | Mute player for time (in seconds). For forever mute use string "forever" instead of time | commandbook.mute or muteman.mute, for forever mute user need '.forever' after previous strings |
2 | /unmute (player) | Unmute player | commandbook.mute or muteman.mute |
3 | /getmute (player) | Get mute-status of a player | commandbook.mute or muteman.get |
4 | /mymute | Get mute-status for player who typed | none |
I was using this plugin for a while but noticed it no longer works correctly on my server. I wrote a new mute plugin from scratch. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/mutemanager/
@Zeluboba
It just needs an update so gtfo
shit plugin
@Arslanamirmanzeezsman Same problem here-if i had to make an ip ban i wouldn't be able to catch their ip to copy and paste it before it scrolled out of the log because that message keeps popping up
@Arslanamirmanzeezsman
ME TOO and when i downgrade it dont work from console nor does it mute them
I keep having this error in the console whenever someone talks.
SEVERE Could not pass event PlayerChatEvent to MuteMan
Hey, this looks great, I have one suggestion, could you perhaps add a global mute toggle:
/muteall /unmuteall
Only players with commandbook.mutemod can talk when muteall is toggle on?
Cheers, Tom
@Herz3h
Only damage\mute now. Add that feature? Also, give an example.
Is it possible to use custom commands when someone swears ?
@5Shadow7Prince
The new version seems to have solved the problems i had, thanks! :-)
by the way: your plugin is case-(sensitivity)aware, shouldn't it ignore this? It makes entering awkward usernames a tedious business ;-)

@ThisUsernameIsMine
Try to add one word in the swears list (swear.yml).
Also, i fix that in 1.2.1 (currently on premoderation).
If bPermissions hooks into bukkitPerms, it will work fine. For example PEX hooks correctly.
I'm using bPermissions (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/bpermissions/bPermissions)
Any chance of supporting it?
edit: getting lots of Could not pass events in my console

New version (MuteMan 1.2) uses permissionsbukkit!
Y U NO PERMISSIONSBUKKIT? Seriously, I'm buddies with 4 other server owners and they all use PB... I humbly but strongly recommend that you expand compatibility. :P
Qiadda, only PermissionsEx now, sorry.
1.1
dont work, just do nothing ... no errors
