MonsterFix v0.4.2

Highly customizable anti-farm, gameplay and explosion control, bug-fix and anti-cheat plugin. It was create special for server MCCity Project (game.minecraft-mccity.ru)

Features

Antifarm (preventing drop (item and xp) from mob that was not killed by a player, drop from mobs that was spawned from the mobspawners, detecting traps (butcheries) and preventing drop from mob killed in the butchery area, preventing cactus farms, snowfarm, obsidian generators, etc...)
Anticheat (sending blockcodes for cheating plugin, preventing moving and action processing after player perform blocked action, boat placing only on water... etc.)
Gameplay (headshots, sprinting in armour limiter, long time sneak preventer, health regeneration limiter, ender pearl preventer, etc...)
Explosions (total explosions control, detonating TNT in player inventory)
System (save-all, use colors and font modifiers in chat, etc..)
World (unsnowable block list, remove trash blocks in nature, allow to place redstone_lamp_on etc...)
Mobs (now here is only equipment for spawned mobs, description will be added later)

Why Do I Want It?

If you interest in any listed features you need the MonsterFix :-) Even you need only one feature - you can easy disable any feature that you don't need to use.

How Do I Install It?

Just copy it in your Plugins folder.

How to use it?

Just install it. After first run config file will be created. All fixes will be enabled. You can change any parameter with commands, or edit config file.

Commands

/mfix help - help page, includes all parameters list
/mfix cfg - display current status, and group list
/mfix <groupname> - display group variables settings
/mfix <groupname>=<on/off> - enable/disable all fixes included in group
/mfix <parameter> - check variable value
/mfix <parameter>=<value> - set the value of variable
/mfix rst - reload variables from config.yml and restart plugin
/mfix fly - Fly!!!! (permissions required)

Most parameters require to set "on" or "off" value ("on" is default value). But there's some additional parameters required to configure basic fixes:

Metrics and update checker

MonsterFix include too features that use your server internet connection. First one is Metrics, using to collect information about plugin (versions of plugin, of Java.. etc.) and second is update checker (required to find newer version of MonsterFix at dev.bukkit.org). If you don't like this features you can easy disable it. To disable update checker you need to set parameter "version-check" to "false" in config.yml. Obtain more information about Metrics and learn how to switch off it, you can read here.

with your plugin could i have a world where i only let players place gold blocks and have your plugin remove all the gold blocks ever placed in that world after a certain amount of time? like 30 seconds or up to 4 minutes or higher? i dont want people to be able to build in some worlds but i do want to let them place temporary blocks if i ever find a way to let that happen.

How do i prevent notifications of permissions when players log in? and also can you add a mob spawner use limit? for example if a player has the permission monsterfix.use.1 they can only place 1 spawner in any world.

Also is there something in this that restricts the use of fortune and silk touch?

Hello @fromgate,

"[mob] New feature: Equip spawned mobs (zombies, skeletons) with armour and weapon. You can define chance of give equipment to a mob, chance of enchant items, chance of item drop, define possible armour, weapon, enchantments."

This is really fun, and the stuff that drops is great. However, on the public server I play on right now that has this addon installed. I regularly encounter equipped mobs that spawned at night surviving throughout the day, and they don't burn up in the sun like they should. This doesn't always happen, but more often then naught.

My friend runs a friends and family server that I also play, and I would like to petition to have this installed. I really like it, but my friend, who also plays on the public server with me,does not, and is against installing it if this can't be fixed.

Could you add the option to prevent mushroom farming with water? Perhaps also stop cactus auto breaking. Maybe add the option to stop pistons breaking crops also? e.g. sugar/cocoa/melon/pumpkins/crops etc

0.4.2 fixed a lot of my issues, I am on spigot 1.8 and I am always getting this error:

I have tried fixing this by messing with line 2 and line 6 but it always gets reset to this. Also it will not let me disable the "mob" config, just keeps enabling it on its own.

the permission is not monsterfix.paintwool, its monsterfix.colorwool

The permission wiki is mistaken.

Thanks for the plugin and the update, but it keeps reseting my config on reload

Spigot 1.8, MonsterFix v0.4.2 Не сохраняет в конфигах состояние (включен/выключен) модулей. После перезагрузки опять все модули включены, хотя в конфигах стояло enable: flase, и значение меняется на true.

Пофикси pls.

На Рубакките тоже описывал проблему.

Getting quite a few errors on 1.8, and some lag whenever monsters spawn/die. Apart from that it works alright, so thanks :D

Hey, great plugin! It's essential to my server(you know, the antifarm) but however its conflicting with another plugin Lockette where players cannot place signs on the chests. Plz fix that if its possible.

Hi ! How get a temporary invincibility after respawn ? I mean, when a player die and do /back, the mob can kill the player again and again. Is it possible with this plugin ? :)

Hi there, it not working with build 1.7.9, the config files keep update. I cannot disable it when everytime server restart it going back to original state. I am using latest version.

Now configuration stored in separate files. Sorry, your old configuration will lost (you can try to copy-paste new data to your new file)
Configuration is now contains comments
Auto-save message is not broadcasting now
Modified version update checker (it's now using BukkitDev API)

Thanks! I will re-install the plugin again are you going to update it anytime soon and an idea: End Reset after the dragon dies would be a good feature.

It not depends on world generator. It depends on height of block where you going to place lava.

You can disable this feature.

Hello! Sorry, but MonsterFix is not supports different configuration for different world. I hope it will be implemented... Sooner or later...
