Mobile Admin for Minecraft
Mobile Admin for Minecraft is an Android server administration tool and server side plugin that provides users the ability to manage and maintain their Minecraft server from their mobile phone. Mobile Admin for Minecraft allows users to change server settings, perform common player administration tasks (such as banning users, setting op status, giving items, kicking users and messaging them), plugin management and real-time chat.
mkaltner, PLEASE COME BACK!!!! I loved this app so much on my phone and it did everything I wanted it to do! :) :) :)
I'll be your best friend!!!!
@MTXRooster
To remove the error I just created "white-list.txt" in the servers root director and the errors went away. However things like banned players, whitelist, ops may not work inside of the app due to the change in 1.7 from .txt to .json.
@PrimerBlock
Only suggestion currently, might be http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/androidremotebukkit/
i got this servers issues : [12:57:42] [ServerThread/INFO]: Invalid command ()[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: at net.kaltner.MobileAdmin.ServerThread.run(ServerThread.java:99)[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: at net.kaltner.MobileAdmin.ServerThread.decrypt(ServerThread.java:1137)[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: at javax.crypto.Cipher.doFinal(Cipher.java:1922)[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: at com.sun.crypto.provider.AESCipher.engineDoFinal(AESCipher.java:313)[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: at com.sun.crypto.provider.CipherCore.doFinal(CipherCore.java:676)[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: at com.sun.crypto.provider.CipherCore.doFinal(CipherCore.java:811)[12:57:42] [ServerThread/WARN]: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Given final block not properly padded
Anyone have a suggestion to replace this plugin?
To add to what Smilet mentioned..
On Bukkit, this app worked just fine (perfectly, still) with 1.7.5 builds.
However it is throwing the error listed below with 1.7.9. I see the plugin was flagged as inactive by the system here, which I hope gets seen by the devs here, as this is a REALLY awesome app (which was why I paid for it for Android, something I rarely do) and hope it continues to see updates to stay with the times. Hard pressed to find ANY other plugin/app that work like this one, don't even want to think about having to find a replacement. Dev's, please keep up, time permitted :) :)

Get the same error for multiple things, certainly because the file names have changed on 1.7.9 (IE same error for bannedplayers, etc)
I think something is rotten in 1.7.8......Mobile admin crashes.

@Nathangorr
YES that would we wonderful
Both the plugin and the app work great! However, I am wondering if this feature could possibly be added to the mobile app that can be enabled/disabled. If the server you are connected were to go down for more then 30-60 seconds (configurable) the app will notify you via a notification on the top of your screen telling you that your server has shut down/crashed.
I love this plugin and it's worked awesome for me, however, just today I have found that my Galaxy S4 only allows connection via Wifi, not over 4GLTE. If I turn Wifi off, it doesn't even show the server as online in the widget. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client app and updated to the latest version on the server side. Still says "Unable to connect to plugin Ensure..." when I have Wifi on my phone disabled. All ports and settings are correct and double-checked. Please help? Anyone? :)
YAY a update, I bought this way back when, now I can hook it up again! Thanks! Ant
TY for the continued support :) Really appreciate it! Downloading now, installing tonight! FWIW I'm not sure what the others were talking about with the workaround and all - I ran your older version on a bukkit 1.7.2 server just fine.. Was able to chat, follow along with the log, give items, op/deop, etc.. Seems all the things I did worked just fine, minus the dynmap which I think was mentioned elsewhere. Anyway, keep up the positive thoughts, your hard work is appreciated for sure :)
awesome, just in case my server goes down while im at work
Hey,
I just want to say if it is possible to make it os it could work on a Windows Phone ?
That would be awesome :D
Greetz
Will this plugin work for an iDevice as well? iPod, iPhone, iPad..etc.
It Works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(With new .zip file ;))
Thank you mkaltner!!!!!
I uploaded plugin version 3.2.6 (awaiting approval, should be up soon). It has been a stance of mine to only support the latest recommended build, but, this version is built against the latest bukkit.jar (1.7.2-R0.3) so may not work for servers running older versions.
Here's the direct link in the meantime: http://dev.bukkit.org/media/files/772/883/MobileAdmin_Plugin_3.2.6.zip
Also, I've fixed the console issue so that the plugin now looks for either server.log or logs/latest.log. The new file format does break the console coloring and will require an android app update to address it.
To everyone coming here saying the app still works great, thanks for your support!
Honestly, it's the constant stream of support emails, messages, negative reviews, PM's and other communications that make this app unbearable to support at times.
I do sincerely apologize for the disappearing act however. I released this app and should at a minimum support the legitimate bugs/issues.
All I can say is please be sure to actually test the plugin, ask for help here or otherwise verify that it works because most likely, it does and something is setup incorrectly. And if you truly think there's a bug, be specific. Saying it doesn't work with 1.7.2 doesn't help anybody (me or you because others here may be able to help as well)
Has anyone created a ticket for the server log issues that have resulted since the newer versions of Minecraft? I see there is some form of workaround posted by another avid user (thanks, btw for that!), but perhaps/maybe a ticket would draw the developer of this plugin's attention.
It would be a shame to see this plugin (and the paid for Android app that goes along with it) die off.. It was well-written and worked great, for 1.4.7... :( DEV, PLZ UPDATE!
how do i get the server log working?
I too can say that this is working just fine on my setup using the latest (#2974) Beta version.
