Cooldown system
The cooldown value in the config file determines how long a player has to wait after a roll before (s)he can roll again, in ticks. In Minecraft, one virtual hour is equal to 1000 ticks. Like in real life, a Minecraft day is 24 hours long, thus 24000 ticks. The default value is 5000, which means that the player will have to wait 5000 ticks (5 Minecraft hours) before (s)he can roll again.
@pichubolt090
Like disabling a certain possibility.
@kahlilnc
What do you mean with disable? Freezing someone in place, or preventing them from rolling the dice?
More configuration in general would be awesome :D Such as disabling anyone you want :D
@Joymo
With broadcast, do you mean the global messages like "X was teleported to the Nether!" ? I'll look into it.
Cool :)
Request: a config flag to disable the broadcast.
@Zombiemold
Thanks :3
I'd say, those suggestions sound nice! I'll consider adding them in the future :)
As for more projects from me, check out my profile page. There's an administration tool and a plugin that allows you to buy wolves...
This is an amazing plugin, added way too much humor and fun to the game. This is such an old school, fun enhancing plugin that has been on player hosted servers from the beginning... great work.
A few suggestions:
Allow for custom limits on how many times you can roll Add options to trigger commands! (This would be amazing, and would work with other plugins) Allow the modification of the chances of each roll Ability to add new item rewards
Keep up the good work, would love to see more from you ^_^
Um make an actual ghast ball come down or a option to disable it??? @pichubolt090
@kahlilnc
Does it? LuckyDice just invokes World.createExplosion()... Didn't know that it overrides WorldGuard. Do you have any idea on how to fix that?
And what about losing a range of money ? Instead of a set ? Same with winning :D
And exploding overrides WorldGuard O_O
@Liger_XT5
Almost right. It's based on a Team Fortress 2 plugin. :3
I had some trouble with implementing timers... If it went right, players could also temporary freeze. I'll look into it though.
I haven't seen a RTD plugin since I played natural Selection 2.0 (Half Life 1 mod). Started looking around and saw this, love it. Got a suggestion though. Could there be a configurable cool down timer?
Hey pichubolt090, I have been trying to find a simple roll plugin that is updated to the latest version.
Luckydice is that plugin
Thanks for this wonderful fun plugin. My roleplay server has found creative ways to utilize it.
