Overview:
Have you ever wanted to protect the players on your server but all those other lock plugins like LWC or Lockette are just too difficult to configure or don't do a very good job? Then this plugin is for you! All you have to do is place your chest, furnace, sign or door, and you are the only one who can access it. There is currently no permissions or commands. Just simple placement.
Features:
- Protect ANYTHING! That's right I said anything...(All editable in the config file)
- Just place the chest, door, sign or furnace and it auto locks to you!
- No one else can access your chests, doors(iron and wooden), Signs and Furnaces.
- Simple config file for protection info, who needs mySQL!
- Now protect your pets too!!!
- Added Villager Protection.
- Added protection from burn/fire events.
- Added a punishment system to kick players.
Commands:
Currently None
Permissions Nodes:
- lockprotection.canBreak - This permission allows users to break blocks that do not belong to them.
- lockprotection.canInteract - This allows players to interact with blocks that do not belong to them. That means open chests, doors, etc.
- lockprotection.canDamage - Allows players to damage and potentially kill Dogs, Cats and Villagers.

Posted Mar 21, 2013Noob question here. I downloaded version 6 and put it in the Minecraft folder. When I run the folder I do not see anything in the pop up dialog box that says it is running. Do I need to alter my config file and or put the pixelsecurity.jar file somewhere else?

I am currently using this plugin on my server and I am having issues with chests. In the starting town people can use the guest houses but can't place items so can't place a locked chest, if I place one for them it belongs to me and they cannot open it? How can I share the chest with myself and 1 other player e.g example99?

Currently metadata is not supported. If you block wool just block white wool and all subsets are blocked.

Posted Oct 7, 2012So to protect every block I just write each block id in the protectedblock section, ok, I did that but what about for the like other colors of wool like 5:1 and 5:2 things like that, when I added them the same way to the list I just get a mass of console errors, is this normal ? or is there a certain way you have to add them ?

It protects all the other blocks, but as the other guy said, it's not protecting the doors, hope you fix soon ^^

Posted Sep 7, 2012Finally a working plugin that automatically protect the blocks, my config is like: protect 00,01,02.....,396 But it works! If you make a option to disable and enable the protection, like if i want to place unprotected blocks, then its gonna be perfect.

Thanks for the information. I did make it so pet's can be killed by natural causes because other wise a pet that takes damage from a mob could become unkillable and become the ultimate killing machine.

Posted Aug 4, 2012Just tested this for 1.3.1 using development bukkit.
The chests are only protected for multiple people if you place the sign on the left chest (double chests), If you put it on the right chest it becomes unlocked all together.
Doors aren't lockable, It seems the lower part of the door works but the top part doesn't and so the door can easily be unlocked using the top half or broken that way.
Pet's aren't protected either (with the option enabled) they are able to be killed and damaged by natural hazards.
Would love if you could update this soon, We've been looking for an up-to-date alternative plugin to lockette and http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/request-stop-killing-my-pets.77518/ in a sort of all in one package.
We want to be able to lock chests, doors, furnaces and that pets don't get damaged by natural hazards or players (wolves, ocelots and npc villagers). Thanks for your work :)

The for punish if someone tries to access/break a chest that does not belong to them. They get kicked.

Yes, it is in the array but it only protects the chest against acces but not agains damage. Other players can break my chest with axe and take the items!

Only you should be able to access your own chest and the items inside. The only way they can get to them is if they have their name on the sign infront of your chest. Make sure that in your config file under "ProtectedBlocks:" that 54 is in the array of numbers.

It seems the plugin gets the coords of the new deployed chest, not de old ones. will Try the sign.
Another thing, is that anyone can break my chest an deploy again, accessing to my items. CAn lockprotection protect against breaking ? How can i configure that?

It shouldn't be. First check the config file and make sure it hasn't been over written. If that is not the error, try placing a sign in front of the chest that is formatted as bellow.
[LockProtect] <yourname>
If that allows you to open it, try breaking the sign. It should fix the error.

Currently the plugin checks the existance of the block with a reference of all minecraft default blocks. So it does not support Mod Blocks yet.
