LightningCake
Freatures
LightningCake simply spawns a pristine, moist cake where any lightning may strike. Also, one may also spontaneously spawn a lightning bolt infront of them.
Commands
/lc_spawn - Spawns a lightning bolt 5 block units away from the player
Permissions
LightningCake.lc_spawn - Defaults to op. If true, player may summon a lightning bolt.

Posted Nov 26, 2012Love the plugin, but there's a somewhat major issue with it. When the plugin is installed, ALL lightning (natural or spawned by other plugins) spawn cakes.
Other than that, it's a fun plugin. Good job!

I have been thinking about making a video for a long time, and it's a good idea.
I actually did make the blocks configurable( or entity. check it out on github ), but I do not wish to make another release before I add persistent timed deletions( the item or entity being deleted after a certain amount of time even after a server restart ), and I need to refactor(re-organize and re-write) code before I make any more changes.

Protip: Get a video, (of the plugin in action) a fancy graphic, (maybe lightning with cake under it?)
It would be funny if in future you made the block configurable (ie instead you'd have diamond block or whatever you configured) and wrote
"It all started when there was an inhuman desire for cake to appear wherever Zeus' wrath struck"
