Easy to use Tower-Defense Plugin.

How to use:

  • Create a Lane with Sponge on the ground and a gold block facing the direction you want the monsters to run at - every 5 blocks.
  • Hide the markers and build a wall on the sides to keep the monsters in-lane
  • at the last point add a sign to the left with the Teamname in Line 1 and the BlockID in Line 2 which represent the lifes
  • set some lifes by simply creating a few blocks near the end.
  • Spawn Monsters (per Hand using Spawn-Eggs or via MonsterSpawner)
  • Build Towers with Wool to defend
  • if finished: /td restart to reset the money and income

This plugin is primary made for Tower-Wars, but can be easily used for Tower Defense, Admin Defense or Last-Man-Standing Events. Plugin requires Vault.

Game should be played in Gamemode 1 (Creative) for maximum fun.

Permission Nodes:

  • td.admin - Building rights and admin-perm for the /td restart command

Commands:

  • /td - Money and Income Overview
  • /td restart - Reset Money and Income
  • /setmoney PLAYER AMOUNT - Cheat command

Implemented Towers:

  • Slow
  • Fire
  • Arrow
  • Rocket (AE)
  • Doom (PBAoEDD)
  • Level-Up
  • Block
  • Each is upgradeable up to 5 Levels

Gameplay Modifications / Features

  • NoBuild w/o permissions
  • Selling of Towers
  • Money for killed Monsters
  • Upgradeable Monsters
  • Monsters with different HP/Features like Movement Speed or Health Regen
  • Tower-Switch-Thru Item
  • Monster-Switch-Thru Item
  • Effects
  • Ingame Money System (no Money Plugin needed - but supported through vault later)
  • Income System
  • Anti-Mob-Spawner on world outside of the lanes

This plugin is still in beta, so the towers/monsters may be not quite good balanced You can modify the plugin - but you're not allowed to remove the "on join message". Happy Fighting ;)

    this plugin will not be updated because bukkit broke it with it's NMS policy. i would have to update the whole plugin with every new bukkit release... and this is just too much work for me.

    Oh, and a better explanation of the towers on the page. Videos are great, but its just much quicker to read.

    I only request two things, and they seem kind of necessary for a plugin like this anyway. 1) I would like mobs to be able to automatically spawn, and 2) I would like a lot more customization, including rewards systems, what mobs spawn, range of turrets, possibly even custom turrets? Granted, my opinion practically means nothing, as I am one person. But I feel this would be a great addition.

    If this had a config file, a join game command, and auto spawned waves it would be what ive been wanting for 2 years :P. It would be awesome if you could make that happen!

    Hey,

    A couple of questions/(requests):

    -Is there a certain range of the towers? Assuming there is, could you make some kind of config file to edit this.

    -Could you make the towers fire at players? And/or make players able to take away lives from the ''team''?

    -Anti-Mob-Spawner on world outside of the lanes < what exactly does that mean?

    And maybe to save you a bunch of work: do you know a plugin which allows you to make arrow-tower, which actually fire arrows at certain (set) teams?

    Anyways, it looks like this is going to be amusing; keep up the good work Rayman03

    That's really nice of you, and I totally understand your choice of staying focused on the Tower Defense aspect of the plugin.

    Ok, this is still pretty cool, especially the mob pathing. You should add a "planned features" section.
