JustSponge:
Aaah you want your good old sponges back.
Well this is the plugin to use!
(only works on sponges placed after 'installing' this plugin)
Features:
- Sponge effectiveness adjustable!
- Permissions optional!
- Sponge crafting recipe!
Commands:
- /spongestrength <uneven integer>- changes the strength of sponges
- /spongerecipe - Toggles if sponges are craftable!
Permissions:
- just.sponge.strength
- just.sponge.recipe
Recipe:
- String - Sand - String
- Sand - String - Sand
- String - Sand - String
Todo:
- Make water on sides update when sponge is removed.
- Ability to add already placed sponges to the list.
- Squashing all bugs.(don't think there's much left)
- Modifying features to players needs.

I have an idea for this plugin, I am currently looking for a plugin that sponges lava (Just like it sponges water, but with lava) so i was wondering if you could add this feature?
That would be awesome! My friends run their own servers and want a plugin like this, so you would have a few more downloads and a lot more followers :)

Posted May 3, 2014JustSponge v0.91 has just been released for CB 1.7.2 and CB 1.7.9 - no extra features have been added yet, I've just started updating al my plugins again and making them compatible with the latest CB was my priority.

Posted Aug 13, 2013Did a bit of testing, and found out that after moving a sponge with a piston, you can break the sponge and the air will remain. I doubt this is intentional, and felt I'd mention it.

Posted Feb 2, 2013By default, do you have to give permissions? I installed it on our server, it is craftable but when we place it in water it does not work? I never fooled with pemissions much, lost on that if so. Thanks for any help!!

Yes! It works pretty well now! If you find any bugs however, I'd be happy to fix them for you ;) By the way: keep in mind that the water won't restore properly yet, should you remove a sponge. I also appreciate feature suggestions :3
