InformationCenter

Version 0.5.0 Release

This Plugin is a personalized Help pages plugin, i hope to add more functionality to it than other currently have. The plugin was designed to be more flexible easier to use and configure, for example simple color codes and grouping pages together into books (permission groups) so only one permission string has to be entered into the permission system rank/group. Even at the early stages of development this plugin was flexible enough to do what most other plugins can do.

ColorCodes

Features

Lightweight pluign.

Codes or tags can be used to insert information from server.

How to Use

/ic version
/ic reload

/help {pagename}

/listhelp ===> /listhelp {PageNumber}

Java 7 Only!

Informationcenter has dropped all support for Java 6 users and is now completely Java 7 dependent so please ensure you are running Java 7 on your server.

Permission Nodes:

informationcenter.admin
informationcenter.listpages
informationcenter.allpages
informationcenter.page.{pagename}
informationcenter.book.{pagegroupname}

Future Plans

Finish the plugin.
Add and remove pages in game.

Once this is achieved this plugin will be complete.

Added command /listhelp, /listhelp [pageNumber] to view avaliable help pages.
Added permission nodes informationcenter.listpages, informationcenter.allpages
Added configurable Invalid Page Message (configured in the plugin config).
Added configurable No Pages Message, for when using /listhelp command (configured in the plugin config).

InformationCenter v0.4.0

Added code so plugin can parse commands with spaces and still find the right pages (ie. command - /help worldedit 2, page - worldedit-2)
Added %%time% tag so you can add server time.

InformationCenter v0.3.0

Added codes that are replace with server info. (ie. %%pN% is replaced with Players Name)

InformationCenter v0.2.0

Made a few changes in the code to make more user frienldy :)
Added DKE UpdateChecker, you can enable or disable in config (disabled by default).

InformationCenter v0.1.0

Initial Release of plugin.

Thanks for the update, the new permission nodes are going to save me a lot of time and the configurable messages will make it easier for my players.

Here you go, please use the invalid-page-msg node in the config to set your message, please note in the next version i will change it to null-page-msg node and create a seperate invalid-page-msg node.

Thanks for the great plugin, just what I needed. One request though, Can we be able to edit the "[InformationCentre] Please choose the help page you wish to view." message? I want it to say "Please type /help help for information" since It's confusing for new people who don't know they have to type /help help.

Yer sry, at present there is no support for spaces, i will add it since it has now been requested, if you have any more ideas regarding the plugin please comment below :)

This is already shaping up as a nice replacement to MyHelpPages, keep up the good work!
