GodlyWeather

Introduction

For admins who wish their players to suffer!

Back on the burner! I'm looking at new ways to code this, but a release is still a long, long way away.

This plugin adds many new fun weather states to the game, as well as some old favourites, such as lightning strikes, meteor showers and fires. It was originally planned for my server, as a way to punish my players or have some fun with the weather, but I decided to release it publicly, as I hadn't found anything quite like it on Bukkit before.

Commands

/gw help - For those of you who haven't already guessed, this command lists all GodlyWeather commands and their usage.

/gw lightning <world> <length> - Summons an almighty lightning storm.

/gw meteor <world> <length> - One of the features that still needs some thought, but I'm thinking of using fireballs as meteors, rather that Primed TNT, which will rain down on your world.

/gw acidrain <world> <length> - Inspired by escape's AcidRain plugin, this feature will summon rain that burns!

/gw arrowstrike <world> <length> - Calling this command will make it rain flaming arrows!

/gw fire <world> <length> - Will start a massive fire at the world's spawn point, spreading rapidly outwards.

More to come!

Permissions

Currently only supports PermissionsBukkit (I think). I haven't had a chance to test with other permission systems yet. Testers wanted!

GodlyWeather.* - Allows acces to all GodlyWeather commands.

GodlyWeather.lightning - Allows access to the /gw lightning command.

GodlyWeather.meteor - Allows access to the /gw meteor command.

GodlyWeather.arrowstrike - Allows access to the /gw arrowstrike command.

GodlyWeather.fire - Allows access to the /gw fire command.

GodlyWeather.help - Allows access to the /gw help command.

Again, more to come!
