Freezer
Ever wondered how can this food be still eatable after three months of playing ? Well, I did. This plugin will force you to keep your food in cold chests, or it will turn into mushrooms. Nobody likes mushrooms. You have to place at least a block of ice/snow against your chest. Else, when you open it or break it, your food will rot. Rots: -pork chops -fishes -apples -cakes -eggs

Is the source code released? Worse comes to worse I could try and update it myself (sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm a bit new to modding :S).

Posted Aug 30, 2011Mushrooms ARE something liked, (mushroom soup?) so I like the idea of Bonemeal instead.
You could also make different foods have different expiration times; ex a loaf of bread does not rot as fast an egg, and this could encompass more foods

Posted Aug 29, 2011You should make things turn into bonemeal instead. That way you can make a compost bin to make fertilizer! also, why not add the rest of the food to the list, just to make things interesting?
