F'inSpamBots

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This plugin was created due to the huge influx of recent spam bot attacks on our server. What is one thing these bots can't do? Move. This prevents speaking or issuing commands for anyone that joins your server (regardless of their current location) until they move a certain distance from their join location (about 5 blocks, X / Y / Z).

There is a bypass permission for your mods, admins, etc: fsb.bypass

What this WON'T do: prevent actual players from spamming regularly. Use this in conjunction with other great anti cheat/anti grief plugins such as NoCheat, NoCheat+ or SpamGuard for best results.

The spambots on my server don't move and they don't talk or do commands. They just join by the dozens.

i dunno what plugin you use, but try another auth plugin like iplock (its only on bukkit forums not bukkitdev)

also could this plugin block join and leave spambots?

Hey, my server uses a authorisation plugin too, and my players aren't able to use /login or /logout. I can't get rid of this plugin because all of the recent attacks on my server. Anyone know how to fix this?

Why are the join messages blank spaces? Is there not a way to make them not appear at all? I've seen it before on other plugins, if you could fix that this plugin would be perfect.

Also, make it so you can edit the messages within the config. + make it so you can toggle login/out messages being disabled in the config.

Good plugin, planing on using it. just gonna say for a future update maybe, I think you should allow the messages displayed in-game to be able to be edited in the config. Yea it worked for me going through the source and changing it through there but it would just speed things up having it in the config.

I'm aware of this error and will try to resolve it. However, the plugin stills works. It seems it throws an exception with the new TownyChat - something with Townychat has caused this issue.

Is it possible to make it so that the messages when they leave and join after the first time aren't shown either unless they move 5 blocks like chat?
