Factions Plus adds features that the developers of the original Factions plugin have not added.

This project is supported by Nivsu Technologies

Please consider donating, it's massive motivation for me!

Please Note: Factions v2.0.0+

FactionsPlus is not yet ready for Factions v2.0.0+, with the release of Factions v2, FactionsPlus will probably malfunction on you.

Please be weary of this. I am going to soon start a new branch for testing with Factions 2.0.0_dev.

HOWEVER I have started dev on a compatible version, which is going to take some time.

Requirements

Features

Faction Warps

Create and remove warps in your faction land that your faction can warp to! This is by default configured so only leaders and officers can make them, but you can configure it so that all members of the faction can create warps. You can configure how many warps can be made in the configuration file.

Faction Jail

Faction member been bad? Easy fix, send them to the jail! To ensure this isn't abused, once a member is sent to jail they can not be attacked or die, and once they are unjailed they can not attack other members or be attacked for 1 minute (configurable). Once unjailed they return to their previous location.

Faction Announcement

Need to let everyone in your Faction know something quickly? Let them know with a Faction Announcement. This can be configured with a cool down, and the default cool down is 30 seconds.

Faction Bans

Want someone out of your Faction for good? Give them a Faction ban, it'll kick them out and stop them from re-joining.

Extra Admin Commands

Administrating a server can be tough. So I've added several new commands to help with that:

  • /f factionhome [tag]: Teleports you to a Factions home

WarZone Improvements

With FactionsPlus you can disable certain commands in WarZone's! Just add them to the disabled_in_warzone.txt, for example. If you wanted to disable the command "/spawn" then you would add "/spawn" to a line in disabled_in_warzone.txt. Each command must be on a separate line.

You can also enable a permission, factionsplus.keepItemsOnDeathInWarZone, to allow players to keep their items when they die, in a WarZone (default is disabled).

Hooks into everything!

FactionsPlus is setup to, hook in! It hooks into Factions, Essentials (cool downs, warm ups with warps, etc), Vault, DisguiseCraft, MobDisguise, MultiVerse and more!

(More in the works!)

To Do List

    @Dutch_Boy: Go

    You can only put warps in land your Faction owns - so yes.

    I can see a problem with this too. Maybe introduce a disallowCreatingWarpNearOtherFactionsOfDistance: xx blocks ?

    Is it possible to claim land from another faction and put a warp on that claim?

    Hope not, because that will suck a little bit.

    Just read that properly - permissions.

    @SnugSites: Go

    It really depends on the feature you want to disable. Best to to both of these things.

    If I don't want any of the features to be available by default but only to some players...

    Do I set enabled to False in the config for each feature and then give the necessary perms?

    Or

    Do I just negate the permis for those who shouldn't have access?
