How to use the inspector.

Once you have the inspector enabled ("/core inspect", or just "/co i"), you can do the following:

  • Left-click a block to see who placed that block.
  • Right-click a block to see what adjacent block was removed.
  • Right-click (place) a block in a location to see what block was removed at that location.
  • Right-click (place) a block in another block to see who placed it. (ex: place dirt in water to see who placed the water)
  • Right-click on a door,button,lever,chest,etc, to see who last used it.

A Few Reviews

  • "It's easy to use and lightning fast when it comes to rollbacks."
  • "I've been running a MC server since before Bukkit, so I've used just about every block logger out there. CoreProtect is the best and the fastest."
  • "Go with CoreProtect. It's fast, updated frequently, and logs WorldEdit."
  • "Overall it felt more natural, simpler, and much faster to use CoreProtect than Prism, which just doesn't compare."
  • "CoreProtect brings complex logging and rollbacks, whilst at the same time keeping a low profile."

    I just had some massive griefing on my server. Someone burnt down all the houses in a few towns, and I'm trying to find out who did it. Is there a way to trace who started the fire?

    @Paxination: Go

    For the radius parameter, just r:#<world_name>

    @xion87: Go

    You can already do this. Make a WorldEdit selection, and then use "r:#we" or "r:#worldedit"

    Ex:

    /co rollback r:#we t:10m

    A suggestion, is possible to integrate coreprotect with worldedit? so you can select for example a region with pos1 and pos2 and then type /co rollbackselection t:10m, it will restore cubes only into that region. it would be awesome!

    @Intellii: Go

    Are there any other variables like #we or #global?

    @nostalgicbadger: Go

    If you're switching from SQLite to MySQL, you need to restart the server.

    Plugin seems pretty efficient, but I'm having trouble getting MySQL to work: it's complaining that tables don't exist. Is there a query I need to run first, to create the necessary tables?

    I have a suggestion/request for worldedit block logging. Right now the plugin seems to store block data for every single block change done in a certain area with worldedit, that's fine but on the server that i help run, we manage to do over 1 billion worldedit block changes / month. In 1 week we average around 12GB worth of storage taken with core protect.

    My request is to have each worldedit recorded as one thing if that's possible instead of each block as one thing.

    I love this plugin, its great. But recently, it's completely stopped logging anything. I do not use MySQL and never have with the plugin. It used to work without it, so it shouldn't need MySQL. It still shows data from when it used to work, but it just won't log anything now. There are griefers about and I cannot find a good alternative, so I'd like to know if there's a way this can be fixed.

    Hello! I love this plugin! but It has failed twice... Deleting the database seemed to fix it but now it's broken again... here is the console error

    Console

    Also /co i works, but when we click on blocks it doesn't do anything.
