Chatflow
Revolutionizing the flow
No longer being developed
Hello everyone, sorry for the delayed notice, however my development and work on chatflow has stopped for quite a while (I've stopped playing minecraft altogether as well), and I would like to let everyone know about that. If you're a developer and are interesting on taking and building up on Chatflow, you can have a look at the source code on github.Sorry for the delayed notice, and farewell to bukkit (and minecraft!)!
What is Chatflow?
Chatflow is a brand new, powerful, cross server chat plugin. All throughout history mankind has communicated. Communication has driven civilization forward. Without communication we wouldn't have the countries we have today, the communities, the languages, the alliances.... it all revolves around communication. And just like countries for various reasons don't want to join with each other... what if you're partnering with another server to refer players to each other but don't want to join your two servers together completely? Well then this plugin is for you!Check us out on our website, here (or to be exact, pluginflow.shortcutminecraft.com ) for our development blog, guides, and features!
What can it do?
With chatflow you can efficiently connect the chat of two servers together. We realize that the chat of two servers combined would probably spam your servers chat a lot, so only messages with a ' ! ' before them (or players with ' !toggle ' on. You can define in the config whether players will have !toggle automatically turned on or not when they join! ) will send messages to the other server. Players on your own server will also be able to tell if a message is cross server, because that message will show up as italic on your server, and will show up in a defined color of your choice (via config) on the other server. (So your own players can realize that you're talking to someone on the other server, or they might be like... huh? Who are you talking to!?) In addition to that, the plugin will also send join and leave messages to connected servers. However if you're not sure if a certain player is on the other server, you can always type ' !list ' to check who's on the other servers!Not to mention the fact that you can customize things such as your server name (displayed on logins/logouts, and on !list) as well as your short server name (which is an abbreviation of your server name, generally. This is displayed in front of chat messages from other servers), as well as customize the colors of these messages.
Usage
What better way to show you than to take a screenshot of the actual help in game? Please note that this will probably changed with new additions. This can be achieved by typing the command /chatflowPlease note I will be updating and adding more screenshots here!

Plz UPDATE it...I need it for my 1.6.2server
Does this work for 1.5.2 serveres?
Is this still active?
@b4ck
Going to see if I can get our new server dev to help work on this... the reason I'm not updating it is because I can't... xD
Not good enough in java yet, sorry! Though I'm making a bunch of plugins to help improve my skills... Such as one that let's you change your server's MOTD! (The words shown by your server in a user's multiplayer server list!)
pls update :D
New Version
Hey guys, just to let you know we're pretty much done the new ChatFlow update - Just currently working out some bugs. Expect to see the update soon! :)
Fixes include the removal of the weird "A"s showing up - and possibly an API for all of your plugins!
@mohawkguy360
That is what chatflow is used for! ^^
Works 100% with different IP's - If you're having troubles configuring it, just post a ticket.
Thanks.
I would love to have the ability to connect servers that are on different IP address's. My friend and I have different server hosts, but we really want to join chat together.
@ffaen123
Yes, sorry about those weird messages, we're going to try and fix that ASAP, however in the meantime you can try to remove the "A" characters in your configuration file, as that might solve the problem... Unfortunately our developer who knows the code best is really busy with school atm, but he's said he'll help next weekend, so hopefully!
Also, sorry, I might have been a bit unclear about that - What happened on previous servers running bungeecord is it would be like (for example the player steve) "Player Steve has left the server" "[S2] Player Steve has joined the server (Server Two)" Which some players didn't like, so we made that configurable ^.^
@muffinjello
Most things are working on our 1.5 server, however there are some weird characters appearing on join and leave etc. > http://imgur.com/4pzP1Iz <
(This is off topic) What do you mean by bungees own connect / disconnect messages? There the same vanilla ones to me oO.
Thanks for the awesome plugin, keep up the good work!
@muffinjello
Cancel that - Some parts are a tad glitchy here and there... going to be a major update within the next two weeks... I promise!
ChatFlow should be 100% working with 1.5 - Don't hesitate to update, Please let us know ASAP if you find any bugs however.
@ffaen123
Yep! It even lets you "silence" join/leave messages so that bungee cord can use it's own disconnect/join messages ^_^ Take a look at our website for more information on how to format 2+ servers
Hey,
Does this plugin support linking between more then 2 servers? Because our server uses bungeecord for linking and we would like to link all the servers together. Thanks :)
@muffinjello
Please note that this is not happening on all servers, but we are still working hard to fix it!
Bug Notice!
The color code parts of the config are being generated as: PrimaryColor: §e SecondaryColor: §f
They can NOT have the " Â ", simply remove that - Bugfix update on it's way (In the end it should look like this) PrimaryColor: §e SecondaryColor: §f
