Need A Plugin?
I do develop custom plugins for people. More information can be found at my website Here Leave suggestions for more updates.
I hope someone updates the plugin, maybe add some new features such as ops having control over all animals, owned or not, and fixes for some bugs I have found, such as taming an animal then it is owned by someone else, also a compatibility update for grief-prevention would be nice :) I hope this project isn't dead :)
Is this project dead?
Admins have 0 access to modify horse ownership. Even with override permission.
If someone owns a horse, override does not allow them to remove the owner or change the owner. This puts admins at a severe disadvantage.
Horses are killable with bows
Perhaps adding the ability to have multiple "users" per horse could be added? It would be nice to allow multiple individuals to be able to use a horse as well.
@Finelarme2
Thanks ;D
Hi. Thanks for this plugin. I like your work. I follow you.
@MistPhizzle
Thank you very much =)

If you have any features you'd like added / fixed, submit a pull request!
This seems like a great plugin. Thanks for making it. Do you happen to have any source code available for it?
Just uploaded v1.3.0. You can download it as soon as Bukkit approves it.
Changes:
@MrSheepSheep
The String longer than allowed is when you rename a horse with a name that is too long. Inventories can't handle that (same for villagers)
@MrSheepSheep
I've noticed that changing the style on a horse isn't working yet. But color / variant is working. (Make sure you are using a recent Bukkit Dev Build). Also, the event is canceled when you do something with right clicking the horse (Variant / Color / etc) so you should never even mount the horse.
Invoking is a problem with horses, it worked when I initially tested it but I probably did something that messed it up a bit later on o_O.
I'll get to fixing bugs ASAP.
Horse is definitively a problem.
Impossible to invoke horses, change their variant, etc...
Impossible to release them with a Right-click, because right-clicking mount the horse.
Oh, and it's not the plugin, but sometimes when I right-click a horse (or I open my inventory on a horse), I have an error : "Received string longer than maximum allowed (33 > 32)"
Anyone has the same problem ?
Even if there are some bugs, you did a good job !
Thank you !

Turn off InvincibleHorses for now. Horses can't be invincible quite yet.
It seems we are having a problem with v1.1 that is preventing us from killing any animals except with flint and steel and bows. Every passive mob when you hit it says "You are not allowed to harm horses."
@MrSheepSheep
I had just finished 1.1.
Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do with horses as of now, as Bukkit doesn't have an API for them yet. They don't act like most tamed animals do. A quick workaround is just all horses are invincible (configurable) unless you have permissions. I can't do much else with horses until we have an API though.
As far as invoke goes, I'll see what I can do on that one. Names are definitely making their way in though. The naming feature will likely come with 1.2 (When Horses have a nice API).
1.1 being uploaded now: Changes:
Suggestions for 1.6.1 :
- Protect horses from being mounted by other players.
- /tame setname [mobname] [name] (MobName : Wolf / Cat / Horse) - Set the name of a mob (Nametag-like)
- /tame invoke [name] - Invoke a mob
The plugin was uploaded around 24 hours ago, Bukkit is just a bit slow when it comes to File approval.
@soccerstrike917 It will be totally configurable. Nametags wont be easily accessible for worlds that were already generated.
@elyssah Will definitely be hooking into other plugins such as WorldGuard. Also, the setowner permission, the player couldn't steal another player's mobs. It will only allow them to transfer ownership of their own animal.
@GreenOwlite This will already protect animals if a player is offline. Also, Vault Support coming in the near future as well. (Probably some time next week, the first release was just the core of the plugin, I'm already adding new features)
@broluigi I'll look into a Factions hook soon, this is probably the plugin I know the least about. As far as the /tame call, I'll see what I can do about that too.
This sounds great! I recommend not allowing direct renaming because the nametags in the next update will allow that, but renaming sounds great!
