Max Health
Features
Max Health is a plugin that determine's a player's max health on their experience level. Right now the plugin is non-modifiable but I plan on adding a config where you can adjust the experience levels and health to. Currently, the plugin has it set so that every five levels one heart (two health levels) are added to the player's max health. The cap is at 100 xp for 30 hearts. Additionally, this plugin allows the player to check either their health or another player's health.
Commands
- /health - gives the player's health in an easy to read manner, perfect for pvp battles
- /health [player] - checks the specified player's health in the same way
Permissions
- check.health - allows for the checking of health of other players
To Do List
- add a toggle-able check if a player's new health on change is lower, it won't change their health

Yeah, I'm actually very excited by this plugin as it is something that I really haven't seen done before. As you can see by my to do list, I do plan on adding a config where the xp and maxhealth levels are configurable. The reason that I didn't release a config with this version is because I made the plugin upon request in the bukkit forums and he asked for very specific parameters for the xp to health. I wanted to get this plugin out for him as quickly as I could so I avoided dabbling in configs as they are still quite foreign to me. I'm glad to see such high interest in this plugin and it just makes me want to do more with it! Wait, so the plugin "changes" a player's health by listening for the damage amount (after every other plugin of course), then dividing it by some ratio, depending on the player's health?
I've never seen any player health plugins, besides Heroes. This is probably one of the first plugins I've seen to do that, and has been something I've been looking for since forever. I really don't know why plugins like mcMMO don't use health systems that extend beyond just "20 health" seeing as varying health systems is great for the discerning server admin. Look forward to using it. :)
Also, for the config, can we enter in our own formula for how a player's hp (based on xp level) gets determined? You could make it so that the variable "x" will represent xp level, "f(x)" (or whatever else) will represent health, and "1" will equal half a heart. I feel it would be way easier this way, rather than specifying the health increments per level for certain level ranges.
For example, if a server wanted all players to have 30 hp, instead of 20 hp, regardless of xp level, their equation would simply be "f(x) = 30". Or if a server wanted players to have 23 hp at level 0, and 30 hp at level 100, the server admin could write in "f(x) = .07x + 23".
