Instead of making pexrank check for updates just tell people to subscribe to your plugin http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/pexrank/manage-subscriptions/ and they will get email updates when you release
@Kartus
Great Idea! I will add that soon as well as the ability to only rank players who have joined the server to prevent mistypes (Toggle able of Course). Thanks for your feedback!
@elchilen0
thank you. can you please add feature: in PexRank "/rank player group" i have to command exact playername, that's not as comfortable as others. like essentials-groupmanager and /pex promote has: i can command "/pex promote ka" and it will promote "kartus", you understand?
@aciidic
No that is not PEXRank that is causing that.
I think pexrank is doing this:

@Kartus
Make sure that you have downloaded the latest version and your permissions are set up correctly. Be sure that you are replacing pexrank.group with the name of your rank so it would be pexrank.member or pexrank.moderator. The command runs great however I have noticed that even if a player has permission for pexrank.moderator if the usage will not display correctly unless they also have the permission node * or pexrank.*. I will work on fixing this on an upcoming update. Version 1.2.3 will continue to work on the current updates but I recommend that you update even though it will not make any significant changes. Thank you guys for keeping up with my plugin! :D
@ELCHILEN0
New update should integrate perfectly with CB 1.2.3 R0.1! Some minor changes to the usage permission check.
@aciidic
Well when I was using some of the developer releases it would occasionally send an error message however I think with the recent releases it should work perfectly.
Yes I've noticed it works well, but what do you mean by upgrading?
@aciidic
It runs fine on r5, r6, and 1.2.3 however I have encountered periodic errors when upgrading. I will make it fully compatible in a few days.
Please make r5/r6/1.2 etc compatible! :)
bug? pexrank.group does not work on my PEX 1.8 group for moderators with PEXRank 1.2.3. Only Administratos '*' (and they have also OP) can command /rank.
Nice Job!
@ELCHILEN0
I eagerly await next release :)
And your file size dropped from 14 to 5kb, nice one.
And at least - -pexrank.* works until deny-ops does
Sorry about having such a buggy last version. I removed the deny-ops but expect it back in the next release. It now has usage in-game or from console by doing /rank.
@aciidic
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I thought i had it fixed give me a day or two and ill have a new version ready.
@Frenzy724
This is only currently for PermissionsEx I will be working on updating for other permission systems soon.
I added deny-op to my config, but it doesn't work :( pexrank config:
Only group with pexrank permissions is admin (*) but mod/op are able to use the command
:(
@ELCHILEN0
I updated to 1.2 but can't find deny-ops :(
Also there are a lot of errors thrown when a player without permissions runs /rank
Also if u want to make config update when u release a new verison, add a config version number and check that before adding/rewriting new config
Will this work with Permissions Yeti (3.1.6)? I hope so, because it's so annoying to have to open a bunch of folders and files and then reload everything. Please respond :D
