When playing blackjack, if you have an ace in your hand, it is considered to be an 11 as the high card (as the ace can either be an 11 or 1). If you keep hitting, the ace continues to count as an 11 instead of 1 if you would've otherwise busted.
Exact quote from a member experiencing the issue with aces.
"Aces sometimes count as 1 or 11, no idea how it decides but there's been times when ive had 2 aces and somehow the total of 12. rather annoying as it makes the decision on weather or not to stick at 16 a lot harder if we don't know what aces are. (Its well annoying when the dealer wins because he had 2 aces and a 9 as in no world does that mean 21)"
