I cant get this to work... staff dont have permission to send a message even when i give them the node. I have tried the nodes: staffchat.recieve staffchat.receive staffchat.send
none of these work... I am using PEX.
@englishkiwi
right now the only 2 permissions there exists is staffchat.isstaff and staffchat.send
@mal67 @Roervig2473
I'm getting the same issue. None of the listed permissions work and even using the staffchat.* permission makes no difference.
@Roboterlein
Sorry for late reply. But Config is available for the latest build(0.3 and up)
@Vodafonept
Offline mode support will be added to the next build
Hey,
Could you make the plugin supporting Offline Mode? (non premium)
--------maybe thats why ppl are not getting it to function
Lenghts Vodafonept
@Roboterlein
Glad to hear that. A new plugin should be release within a few days
@mal67
And that sounds very stange
hmm. permissions dont seem to be working with permbukkit and 1.4.7 r1 i set the nodes staffchat.* true for my moderators and staff. nothing... so i try each node in a list.. nothing
any ideas what i might be doing wrong?
Hey, thanks for writing this up. I've been debating over several plugins and this one takes the cake with its simplicity/efficiency.
That being said, I am quite excited to read that you're working on a config file to change colors and such as well.
Again, bravo! Keep up the good work!
@bolharr2250
It should work perfectly fine with 1.4.7. And unless bukkit change a lot of their code. Then it should keep working forever. And if you want some cheap Hosting for your server then you should take a look at chunkyhosting ^_^
Have a nice day!
Simple and nice! It apparently works with 1.4.7
It is very light, works fine. Simply amazing if you have a small pvp server like mine.
Of you wanna check us out, our IP is: 64.31.38.13:25568
@Stuartie_h_94
Thanks, but what do you mean by "Does it print messages when disabled?"
@Roervig2473
Did you make it that it prints a message when its disabled? Just curious I'm about to install this, seems better than all the rest I have read about. :)
@The_Loyal_One
I know the problem, but keep in mind that Reloading your server can cause a lot of bugs and nasty exploits. However i can make it print out a message to all staff when it get's disabled/enabled...
Ah, okay.
If it's not possible that's fine. But personally, I reload my server a lot. And lots of other people do too. So somebody that's not the server owner might say something but then it goes out to everyone when only staff were supposed to read it. Hope that makes sense.
@The_Loyal_One
Well i'm not sure, the players are stored in a ArrayList, and when the plugin get's reloaded then the arraylist gets deleted. I could make a file for it tho on disable...
No problem.
Here's a few more suggestions:
/sct does the same thing as /tsc (staff chat toggle)
Preventing /tsc from reverting back to normal chat after /reload
Is that possible to prevent it?
@The_Loyal_One
That's actully a great idea. Let me add that to my To do list
thanks for your feedback
Is there any chance that you can like, make prefixes for people with this plugin? Not in the main chat but in the staff chat I mean.
It would be useful if you could have different prefixes.
You could maybe use a command like: /sc add prefix roer [&bModerator&f]
Is this even possible? Or would it be a lot of work?
As an example: [Helper]Roer [Moderator]Roer1
@sonicwolfsspeed
I'm doing a config file atm, so you can choose the design yourself
