Fixes Update Message Bug!
SignColors allows all players on the server, or people with Permissions, to add colored text to signs. Simply use the & character (you can change this in the config) followed by a hexidecimal digit (0-f) to give the rest of that line a color.
Current Features
- Allows players to add colors to signs
- Take your own color symbol instead of '&'
- Possibility to craft colored signs (ingredients can be changed in the config)
- Signs from a [SC] sign cost money (needs Vault!)
- If "signcrafting" in the config is true, you can only write colors on an [SignColors] sign
- Checks for Updates (can be disabled in the config)
- English and German language support
- Uses Metrics (can be disabled in the config)
- Supports Bukkit Permissions
- Stable, rarely needs updates.

Instructions
How to make a colored sign
To make a colored sign, write the colorcode (default is: '&') and one of these characters
(0, 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, a, b, c, d, e, f, k, l, m, n, o, r)
in front of your sign message.
Of course you can write more than one color in one line.
How to make a sign, which gives you 10 signs
Before
Write on the first line [SignColors]. The rest will be automatically created.
After
Now make a right click and you will get 10 SignColor signs for 10 $ :)
The price could be changed in config.
Updatecheck & Metrics
To disable updatecheck on each serverstart and metrics, set these two lines to false in the config.yml:

Commands
For /sc you can alternatively use /signcolors
- /sc - Shows information about SignColors.
- /sc help - Shows a list of commands.
- /sc reload - Reloads the config.yml.
- /sc colorsymbol [symbol] - Changes the color symbol to [symbol]
- /sc colorcodes or /sc cc - Shows you a color/format codes list.
Permission Nodes
- signcolors.* - Access to all features.
- signcolors.colors - Allows you to write colored signs.
- signcolors.colorsymbol - Allows you to change ingame the color symbol.
- signcolors.sign.create - Allows you to create a [SignColors] sign.
- signcolors.sign.use - Allows you to use a [SignColors] sign.
- signcolors.info - Allows you to see the SignColors info.
- signcolors.help - Allows you to see the /sc help page.
- signcolors.reload - Allows you to reload the config.yml.
- signcolors.updatemsg - Shows you the update message, if an update is available.
- signcolors.craftsign.bypass - Allows you to write colors on a normal sign, even if signcrafting is true.
- signcolors.listcodes - Allows you to see the color/format codes list.

Hello, i would like to make a small suggestion. It will be really helpful to add the list of colors inside the plugin. For example, you type in the command /sc list or /sc colors and you get numbers and letters of different colors (becuse i do believe lots of ppl have to open your plugin page to see color nodes)

Yes, I know some people need it for Java 6, but it can only run in Java 7. Sorry.

You are using an old Java Version. Download and install the latest Java JRE or JDK, then should it work ;)

Do you have the permission: signcolors.colors?
Yes i have been having trouble with writing colours on the signs, colours work in chat but when i put them on the signs the letters stay black please help!
