Shire Sheep
ShireSheep - Multicolour Sheep! (Supports 1.15.1)
When sheep spawn, this plugin will dye them a random colour. You can also enable an option which lets you set the probabilities for different colours.
How do I use this plugin?
Simply drop it into your plugins folder - no configuration is required, but you can configure the probabilities of the colours if you want to.
Why would I want this plugin?
To brighten up your server!
What Minecraft version has this been made for?
The most recent version has been built for Minecraft 1.15.1. If you're using an older version of Minecraft, then check the 'Files' page for older versions of this plugin.
Oh no! Something is wrong!
Copy and paste your error into this topic, make sure you wrap it in code tags.
But there are no errors!
Are you sure it's installed? Try: checking your plugins folder and/or typing /pl

@Hangar
Thanks for your interest! :) I'm currently preparing an update that lets you set probabilities, with commands and permissions so that you can easily configure them (You can also use the good old editing the config.yml file technique though)
I've had the same experience - I used to have a coloured sheep plugin on the server that I administrate, however when lots of plugins broke due to changes in the Bukkit API, I had to get rid of it. So there were quite a few coloured sheep around, slowly becoming extinct. The fact that I couldn't find a working plugin at the time to make multicoloured sheep inspired me to create this.
There should be an update released some time today, anyone already using version 1.1.0 or above will get a notification about the new update in their server log/console.
I used a plugin like this very briefly at one point last year, and you can still see colored sheep roaming around on that world. People still comment about it hehe. I'm definitely going to try this for my 1.3. world. Thanks for keeping it updated :)
@rustyshakelford2 Oh and just so you know, I have tested it on an old 1.2.5 server and it works fine - so you could try it out now if you want.
Thanks ;D
@Malikk65 I am aware of that, however I have very little free time.
Please spare me your rude and sarcastic comments.
Edit: I've finished coding probabilities and I'm now bug testing it.
implementing those probabilities would not be difficult at all...
My server has been looking for a plugin like this ever since SheepRave was abandoned. I'll definitely give it a try when we update.
Updated and works with 1.3.1-R0.1! Waiting for approval now. :)
Tested and works in CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.2.5-R4.0-b2222jnks (MC: 1.2.5) (Implementing API version 1.2.5-R4.0)
To implement a config file for determined colour proabilities? :P
@senne97
Why does it need updating? Still works.
Please update Love it !!
Any updates for 1.2.5-R2 for this?
THHAAAANK YOUUU :D
Note: This still works on 1.2.5-R1.0
@Naterdoo
I uploaded it using the feature on dev.bukkit.org

Hi, I think I know what's wrong with the plugin. The one on this site doesn't seem to work while the one on curse is working just fine. andrewvpo maybe didn't put the most developed version on this site?
@AuraL17
Sure you're not looking at sheep that spawned before you installed it? I just tested your claims on my dev server (1.2.3-r0.2 / 2083) with plugins: "Essentials, EssentialsChat, ShireSheep" and it worked perfectly. Try running "/ebutcher sheep"
"21:10:15 [INFO]
-onCreatureSpawn event triggered! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Colour change task started! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Color change task ended. 21:10:15 [INFO]-Colour change task started! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Colour change task started! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Color change task ended. 21:10:15 [INFO]-Color change task ended. 21:10:15 [INFO]-Colour change task started! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Colour change task started! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Colour change task started! 21:10:15 [INFO]-Color change task ended. 21:10:15 [INFO]-Color change task ended. 21:10:15 [INFO]-Color change task ended."I made the plugin output what it does, and this here means that it has found numerous sheep and changed their colour.
I also tested this on a plain bukkit 1.2.3-R0.2 installation with only the ShireSheep mod and it worked fine. ( http://i.imgur.com/mhiWU.jpg ) The sheep in this image spawned naturally.
When I spawnmob they are multiple colors but they don't naturally spawn like that.
@AuraL17
All you have to do is download the jar and put it in your plugins folder. Make sure your bukkit build is between 1988 and 2083 (/version).
I've seen a few servers using it and it works perfectly.
@andrewvpo
Yeah, I am just unfamiliar with mods with no config. But it isn't changing any sheep, which is why I mentioned it.
