There are work, collection and production ticks. 20 of these ticks = 1 minecraft day. From testing this plugin it takes 1 or 2 minecraft days before the signs are fully operational.
Your warehouse must have at least one storage area with at least one chest in it, items stored in this chest. If it's a Sell sign it will take the money from your settlements bank, if it is a buy sign it'll take the items from the chest. The money and items are then 'stored' in the signs but be careful as breaking the signs will mean you lose the items (Or so testing has revealed).
So how r the signs suppose to work. We setup both a buy and sell sign for diamonds can buy diamonds for 500 or sell for 250. We had money in settlements bank and a stack of diamonds in warehouse storage area, as soon as signs went up says come back later, we had a merchant on, and we used the saga admin command to advance time, we advanced near 5 full days and the sign never changed.
Please help.
So far the plugin is a big hit, it has been what we were looking for, from your help I was able to figure out how to adjust the time for build and claim points.
Thank you for your help
@CarnorJax777
That happens when one of the signs is invalid. Will be fixed in the next update.
TRADING POST ERRORS
Every time we place a buy or sell sign and server restarts it crashes saga and does not load gives failed to initialize errors for signs?

Buildings should be under /shelp command. I'm not sure what to put under /bhelp.
Oh my god, this is actually amazing. The features list do not do this justice, everyone needs to see the wiki!

Dedicating a server to this, will give as much input as possible.
Edit: Figuring out the buildings was a challenge, maybe have a /bhelp command?
Just wanna say. This is exactly the plugin that i was looking for. Have no idea how i found it but glad i did :)
One thing tho: Is there anyways you could create a list that better defines what each building does and what you need for the building to work. *Would be really Helpful*
@Nefiron
That's a bit too much.
Would it be possible to let peoples attributes decrease by time if not used for long?
@CarnorJax777
Not yet. I will try to work that in. If you really need it then you can PM me.
@chaozzone
There are two ways that Saga interacts with chests. Firstly, it blocks access in players houses. Second it takes/adds stuff from chests when chests are in storage areas. It shouldn’t affect protection. I know it works fine with deadbolt/lockette.
I'm not 100% so you have to test it yourself.

You need the settlement to sell stuff to earn wages. A certain percent goes to the faction and the rest is distributed to online players. There is no other way to earn wages.
Those "x1:0 y1:1, x2:2, y2:4 are basically two points. If 0, then the result is 1 and if 2 then the result is 4. Everything between is calculated.
claimsPerMinute and buildPointsPerMinute takes the number of members online as x. More players = faster claim points
@Yoyuyi999
You can just remove the permissions for faction commands.
Another question, we dont want people to build in the wilds, but the perm node does not differentiate between build and destroy.
By limiting wilds, it drastically reduces the area for mining. Is there a perm node that would allow destroy in wild but not building.
Hello lads, could anyone comment on the compatibility with mod blocks? I.e. like Ironchest containers etc.?
I love this plugin, its hard but fair. The server I admin for uses it, but we are trying to figure out how the coding works. In most of the files you use a codeing like x1:0 y1:1, x2, etc.
Trying to figure out how these work, primarily for additional build/claim points, and how quickly per minute per user the % of additional claim points work.
Also in terms of wages, i assume that a settlement must have a trading post to earn revenue, and then the wages are distributed to settlement res and affliated faction from that.
Is that the only way for wages to be earned.
Thanks, keep up the great work.
Any way to disable factions? I would use this if at all possible.
how dose i compile. :/
@ezrahollis12
It has been submitted to Bukkit 1 day and 15 hours ago. Go bug them to finish approving it.
Hey, if you're in a rush, I wonder if it's possible to...I dunno....compile the source from Github? :p
When aproximatly will the 1.6.2 saga be out? by what time/day?
