RandomMobs is an easy-setup, light-weight RandomMobsSSP for Modloader replacement for Spout. It aims to provide a similar functionality as RandomMobs does for anyone using Spout and Spoutcraft.

Requirements

Commands
- /rm - Console/in-game help menu.
- /rm reload - Reloads the configuration file from disk.
Permissions
- rm.* - Access to all permissions (besides opt-out).
- rm.reload - Access to the reload command.
- rm.disable.* - Opt-out permission that disables all skins.
- rm.disable.creaturename - Opt-out permission that disables all skins for the designated creature (ie rm.disable.blaze).
- rm.disable.creaturename.1,2,3 - Opt-out permission that disables all skins for the designated creature and a particular skin number (ie rm.disable.blaze.1 would disable the first listed skin in the config file for the creature blaze).

Cant pass creature_spawn to spoutcreatures. All versions is in the startup log.
Ps. I'm pretty sure the 1.1.1 donwload link still downloads ver 1.1.0. I opened the jar file and the plugin.yml file in it still has the permission node and version 1.1.0 written in it.

Having some local internet issues here...should be resolved tomorrow.

My apologies for my lack of comments here lately. I have been working with the Spout Dev Team to get some of the entity skinning issues fixed for Minecraft 1.0.0.
Right now, things are skinning perfectly but there is still issues with chunk skinning. I am going to go ahead and push out 1.1.1 today which will atleast resolve all the issues being discussed below.
Just a heads up...this is the last build of SpoutCreatures that will have a config file...;). Thats all I will say XD.

I have to agree, just found out there are dev-builds of Spout for MC 1.0, just isntalled some spout plugins and now tinkering with settings. Kinda lost on this one, lol.
I think I have an idea, but not too certain as of yet.

It shows the plugin is in debug mode but just doesnt work. I currently have it disabled because I read elsewhere that its currently not working well with MC1.01 server and dev bukkit/spout.
Also spout and bukkit are spewing out new builds every few hours so I understand that things will be a mess atm. I just really miss the random mobs client mod that comes with mcpatcher and hoped to get it back on spout.
I'm at work during the day so testing/feedback will be a lil slow.

Any chance you can tell me what the debug line said RIGHT before that exception? Was this when the server was first loaded or when the server was running for a while?

I assume this concerns you as you are using links from a host that has limited bandwidth or...?
Remember that the skins are downloaded to each client that connects only ONE time. Spout caches them on the client for future use. If the skin is ever updated only then will clients have to re download.

Spout 593 and CB 1556. Eagerly awaiting a fix.
i try v1.0.5 with cb 1337, spoutcraft 803, but nothing work. someone use SpoutCreature on 1.8.1 ?
