PistonStorage
PistonStorage is a way for you to be able to push and pull blocks into/from chests. This may be useful for cobblestone generators that automatically push the generated cobble into a chest for ease of access.
Simplicity
This plugin was meant to be kept simple, it was originally a discontinued plugin but I got bored one night and decided to update it again as I had many messages asking for it to be updated.
Compatibility
This plugin should be backwards-compatible as far back as Minecraft 1.4.7, and up to 1.6.1.
@terasat
Also a great idea! Sent this in to the author.
@Blackixx
That would be a great idea! I suggested this to the author.
Attempted this just now, worked like a champ then I wondered what would happen if the chest was full. The block Just goes away. :(. Now I wanted to test this fully so I set up a cobblestone generator, as the piston was pushing, it pushed water into the chest, Tested with lava as well.
Overall it works as it should, just putting water / lava into the chest is something I could deal with. But the loss of blocks completely just poof gone, is not ok.
I don't have any good solutions for this.
Possibly take the block and put it off to the side? stop the piston completely? Or make the block act as if just pushed and does not enter the chest?
Can you also take things out of a chest with a sticky piston?
@Dibujaron
Spot on :) Couldn't have said it better myself.
what exactly does it do? so if you have, say, a block of dirt, and a chest next to it, if you push the dirt with a piston towards the chest, the dirt will go into it? that's extremely cool. Perfect for factory-type redstone/piston setups. I hope that's what it does...
Does it also work with items? And please add permissions. /jhs232
