Please provide any additional information below.When the host is set to "local host" in the console I still can not connect and get this: SQLException: Communications link failureAll numbers have been checked multiple times.The MySQL server is not on the localhost (which it tries to connect to) There are no other plugins using MySQL.
Your configuration looks correct, and I have no issue getting OnTime to connect to my exteranaly hosted MYSQL DBs, so I don't know what to tell you other than the obvious. (which you say you have done) which is to double check your IPs and passwords.
Are you able to access the DB through support tools such as phpMyAdmin?
