Movecraft
NOW MOVED TO SPIGOTMC, CHECK HERE FOR NEWER VERSIONS:
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/movecraft.31321/
A Brief Description
Movecraft is a plugin that has been designed to give purpose to those extremely large (and awesome) oceans as well as to simply give the option to Sail, Drive, or Pilot amazing Ships, Creations, or Zeppelins. It allows the player and/or players to craft Vessels out of blocks that can be piloted and thus moved. Hence the name MoveCraft.
Credit
Movecraft was first created by Yogoda for hMod.
Movecraft 3 is a complete recode. It's only similarity to the Movecraft of Yogada is it's name.
Documentation, Tutorials, Quick Start Guide, and Demo Videos
For documentation and information, use this link:

Also the builds on that site are more up to date than the builds on this site, so download the latest version there. Please be aware the builds on that site have not been checked by the dev.bukkit.org staff, so use at your own risk.
Here is a brief summary of Movecraft features covered on that site:
Control Method Options
- Sign and Pilot Tool
- Sign only
- Direct Control (the players movements control the craft)
- Misc Commands - /manoverboard, /release, etc
- Remote Signs to remotely activate command signs from other parts of the ship (Turn turrets, launch torpedoes, etc)
Craft Options
- Basic craft configuration options including size, speed, allowed block types, required blocks, etc
- Customizable Cruise Control to keep the craft moving forward
- Customizable Fuel Burning behavior
- Customizable sinking/crashing behavior including smoke, explosion on impact, and uncontrollable dives
- Restricting motion to horizontal or vertical planes
- Customizable "Hover" land contour following behavior for cars and surface vehicles
- Optional craft teleportation
- Require water contact for sailing ships and water craft
- Crafts that explode when they collide with things for ramming or torpedoes
- Repair signs to repair your ship, requires mats, and can require a fee
Server Options
- Customizable Pilot Tool for craft control (or you can disable it to force sign only movement)
- Man Overboard timeout to allow anyone who falls out of a craft to get back in it
- Configurable WorldGuard protection against moving into forbidden areas or sinking over protected areas
Permissions
Movecraft uses the following permissions:
movecraft.<craft name>.pilot
movecraft.<craft name>.move
movecraft.<craft name>.rotate
movecraft.<craft name>.repair
For example, if you have a craft named "Airship", you would need movecraft.Airship.pilot, movecraft.Airship.move, and movecraft.Airship.rotate in order to completely use it.
There is also:
movecraft.<craft name>.create - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.cruisesign - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.commands - grants access to /pilot, /cruise, /release, /rotateleft, /rotateright, /craftreport
You can also control these granularly with:
movecraft.commands.release
movecraft.commands.pilot
movecraft.commands.rotateleft
movecraft.commands.rotateright
movecraft.commands.cruise
movecraft.commands.craftreport
Dependencies
Movecraft does not require any other plugin to function, however certain features require additional plugins:
WorldEdit (>6.0) - For repair system
Vault - For payment system
In addition, the following plugins are supported for compatibility:
Cannons - Cannons will move with a piloted craft
WorldGuard - Region protection
Most common permission plugins - Assign permissions to various craft features

@Sparclen
Sorry, as I know, at this moment still isn't available.

Does anyone have the location of a 1.9 development version or fork?
Anyone have problems with custom .craft files. Only remade ones seen to work lately. The customized craft files aren't getting any response from mine craft. I can create airship and things like that. But i can't create any of my own that work. I need one fora car built from: wool, glass, slabs, doors, and buttons. I have tried creating a hovercraft craft file but I'm not having any luck. Anyone have a working .craft file for cars? Aka land vehicles. I can't get one that works at all

I think you can see the problem.
I have a problem with this plugin. Each time I move a ship, my game crashes, sometimes it crashes my friend's game as well. The ship is not big, just 5000 blocks. My computer is quite powerful, so that shouldn't be the case either.

Ok, so I think I've got the craft type settings right, just in the wrong place. Could someone tell me why this threw an error when I tried to run it?
@Triple_D_Crafter
You amaze sure the furnace is an allowed block in the ship type?
Hello, whenever I move a ship bigger then 6000 blocks it moves in pieces. For example every time it moves 1/3 of it moves forward, then the other 1/3 and the other. What can I do so the entire ship moves at once?
Hi Can you update movecraft so that you can set portals for ships? So like you use world edit to set a area that is a invisible portal, so when a ship goes through a certain area it gets teleported to somewhere where the owner can set?
Recommended commands
/set mp (name of the portal) - This creates a portal at the space you set with world edit /set mp des (name of portal) - This sets the destination of the designated portal when a ship comes through
/mp delete (name of portal) - Deletes the designated portal
Um for some reason torpedoes,collisions everything with explosions (except actual tnt cannons) dont work like they dont damage at all i dont have world guard or anything that prevents tnt... i hope it will be fixed soon cause this is my FAVORITE plugin!
Will Movecraft be updated soon?
Hello Developer, i have a problem with my submarine. If i put a furnace in it it says that it can't move because there is a furnace in the way and if i break it it says it has no fuel. help! Thx for your time
@mcneproj
I see that you got this plugin idea from the same server I did but warping ships would be nice if it were to be implemented into the future.
@nashoxx
you have problem with correct format of the .craft file (it's Yaml file type) and there should be no TABs, try open it with some text editor and replace each TAB with two spaces (twice spacebar). It should solve your problem.
@mcneproj
:) In Movecraft v1.0 there was a warp function, but it was unsafe. I belive that we can look on it, because you are not only one, who has space server. We have plugin with WE dependecy in the past for solve this. But my opinion is, that Multiverse portals isn't the best way (to many wasteful possible problems with parsing the craft). ... much better will be do it like a warp, directly in movecraft code. Because, when we can use teleport, I don't see any reason, why we can't move the craft to the another world. ... or am I wrong, @Loraxe42 ?
@Calaxer
Yes, there is partial support for WorldGuard and full for WG Custom Flags and Towny. Check http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/movecraft-reloaded---loraxe42s-fork/ and look for WGCustomFlagsUsePilotFlag, WGCustomFlagsUseSinkFlag ... there should be more info and some flags description.
Hello,
Is there anyway I can restrict users from flying in a certain region? Maybe a WorldGuard flag?
Kind regards,
Calaxer
OKay so I'm trying to add other blocks to the config files of the Airskiff and then this little gift appears:

How do I fix this issue.
Also, is there a command to reload the plugin files? (That isn't /reload).
@mcneproj It's possible and relatively simple to modify the default movecraft to do this, but the default movecraft code doesn't provide this feature. You really just need a PlayerTeleportEvent listener, a way to remove the craft from the old world, a way to save the craft in a database (probably in a 3d matrix of blocks that retains block data and block state), and a way to rebuild the craft at another location.
