MegaCreeps
A mighty tool that allows to create, modify and replace monsters/bosses with custom attributes, such as:
- Special abilities,
- Maximum hitpoints,
- Potion effects,
- Itemsets,
- Drops,
- Experience drops,
- Mounts
- Attack damage
- Custom strength rating to replace natural spawns
Extended description:
- Supports multiple worlds with own configuration sections for each.
- The item names and lores allow to drop so-called epic-gear and can use unsafe enchantments.
- You can create and edit setups out of the game or edit them in their own .txt files. Creating setups out of the game, you need to have a setup book in the inventory. "/mc" tells you how it has to be set up. Your potioneffects will also apply to the setup with almost infinite duration. If you wish shorter potioneffects to take place, you will have to modify the duration in the .txt file.
- You can replace normally spawning mobs with MegaCreeps. This is further supported, giving you the ability to modify the relation between stronger rated and weaker rated mobs. You can do the rating yourself.
- The plugin comes with a number of basic setups that will always be present. You are free to edit them or take them out of usage by deleteing them from the config.
- The bounty can be modified. You can drop virtually everything. Please note: Not all deathcauses make the MegaCreeps drop their items. Mob traps with such things as lava or pistons fail to get the mob's drops.
- Special abilites can be used. You can look up the currently active abilities for a list.
- There is an API for modders that want to customize the usage.

Wie die Fähigkeiten funktionieren, wann sie auslösen und wie du einstellen kannst, wen sie treffen, steht in der Abilities Sektion. Ist nett von dir, dass du dich zu den Pigzombies schlau gemacht hast, inzwischen funktionieren die meines Wissens aber etwas anders. Ich komm schon klar ;)

Huhu ich hätte da nochmal was.. könntest du bitte im Tutorial erfassen, wie genau ich Effekte scripten muss, damit sie auf Spieler übertragen werden, wie zum Beispiel SLOW? Du hattest das auf meinem Server kurz geschrieben.. Allerdings blicke ich da noch nicht so ganz durch. Ich komme daher auch nicht so recht weiter beim umschreiben der <mobname>.txt's
EDIT: Hab da was gefunden zum aggro machen der Pigzombies. Hilft dir das evtl? :)

Ich will aber nicht alles neu scripten müssen... Ich brauchte so schon Stunden bis alles passte, alles gescripted war und einigermaßen balanced ebenfalls.
Zudem musst du dein Wiki dringend anpassen, da Effekte jetzt Namen haben und nichtmehr mit 1-X durchnummeriert sind. Sie alle sind nicht aufgeführt und ich kann nur raten, was was war/ist. Das müsstest du ganz dringend noch machen, ehe ich überhaupt daran denken kann, das Plugin zu updaten. Ich tappe da derzeit absolut im dunkeln.

Du musst, wie ich es gesagt habe, die IDs von Effekten, Enchantments und Gegenständen in ihre internen Namen ändern (z.B.IRON_HELMET). Das steht hier auf der Startseite alles unter "Updating" dabei. Die Fehler gibt es, weil du noch die alten Standardsetups nutzt. Lösch die und das Plugin erstellt sie beim Start neu mit den richtigen Bezeichnungen.

EDIT: Nach kompletter Neuinstallation mit frischem Ordner funktioniert es >.< Toll... nochmal alles neu scripten :(
EDIT2: Ich benutze nun wieder die alte Version v0.0.6 . Diese funktioniert fehlerfrei und ohne Errormeldungen, wenn ich den Punisher nicht drin hab.

Is there an Option to make Pigmanzombies aggressive? Normally they start to attack when you attack them. I wan't them aggressive like normal Zombies. When they spot a player, the shall attack immediately. Is that possible?

This would be another thing for the API. It would take some time to make something to build upon this API to fulfill both yours and @BenButler77 's idea.

Hi, Would you be able to add specific spawn points? like: /mc setspawn <spawnname> <mobname> <interval (seconds)> Example: /mc setspawn skeletonspawn ClassicSkeleton 10 That will spawn a ClassicSkeleton every 10 seconds where ever you were standing. Also could you make it 1 mob per spawn point so when it dies it will start the countdown to spawn another to help prevent mob flooding?

Hello BenButler,
allowing to use commands on certain related events is a nice idea, but it feels displaced and hard to use as an ability. The API I'm planning to add should allow to do such things outside of MegaCreeps itself.
Hey dude, do you think it would be possible to add commands under the ability section? I want to be able to do things like teleport a player to the next room of a dungeon upon a megacreeps death, have the boss taunt the player with /msg, or perhaps give the player an item from a non-hostile megacreeps. Adding commands would make the potential of the plugin encompass any other plugin on the server, I could really use this

I get what you try to tell me. I will add the possibility to raise or lower the attack damage dealt by normal mobs.
