Ahh, gotcha! when i entered 0,10,1 it has the desired effect. =)
@tomaste
Your velocity is too high. CraftBukkit limits it to a vector length of 100 (
square root of(x²+y²+z²)
). I will add an in-game notice for this. Thanks for reporting though!Hi! Really enjoying your plugin!
One issue, anytime I use the [rocket] command with any modifiers, it does not work.
example:
[rocket] 50,200,0
causes the user to just jerk a little, but not launch into the air.
[rocket] by itself launches the user straight up as I assume is intended.
I'm using MagicSigns-1.5.0.jar
@Drizzt451
I already thought of that :) Look in the wiki, there's a page called Macros with which you can write arbitrarily long commands on Command signs and permissions on Permission signs.
Hi Philipp15b,
As per to my former message about the custom timed perm command, I am having a problem where the two lines is not enough for the ccommand I will be running :(
Are you considering finding a way to give us more lines per plugin?
@Biener123
No and this would not make much sense, as most signs depend on user interaction. It could be done for the CommandSign, but then you could just use Minecraft's Command Blocks.
Can these be redstone activated?
@xTomiK101
This will be changed in the next release, thanks for reporting.
@wydgabriel
I don't really understand you problem. Could you please describe what you do more clearly? Because when clicking with a sign on a sign it is supposed to disappear after writing the text on it.
I can't replace the sign to mask them, when I put the sign in front of magic sign, it disapears.. What is happening?
great plugin but 1 problem, the feed sign takes away your hunger. how do you change this?
@Drizzt451
Hi, I'm glad you like this :) At the moment it is not possible to create timed permission signs. It is however possible to create
[CCommand]
signs that execute the command you mentioned.Unfortunately this is also not included in the Vault API so I probably won't include this as a first-class sign.
Good Day Philipp15b,
EDIT: I think I can achieve what I want using the console command option, correct?
I have been looking for a plugin with this feature after 1.5.1 for soo long thank you for your time and effort put into it.
One quick question:
Is there a way to give timed perms using the permission signs?
i.e.
Player punches sign.
10 sponges are taking from his inventory as payment
Player is given perm.node for 60 minutes.
(this is done in pex using /pex user <user> timed add <permission> <lifetime in seconds> [world])
Thanks,
@blackeyeK10
I'm currently using iConomy and PermissionsEx, although you should search for yourself as I'm not very experienced with these. I don't know about any good rank plugin either, sorry.
@rajkalex
This was actually added 2 days before your comment (it is not released yet). At the moment the line with for example
[Rocket]
will be blue (see this screenshot). If you think there's a better color, send me a suggestion!I request: please make the [ms] or whatever you have in the brackets turn a color. I want my players on my server to know when they are working and that they need to right click on them.
hello , what plugin do you use for the money? and if you know a rank plugin , do you mind posting it here ? Thank you , and i love you magic sign plugin , too!
MagicSigns 1.4.1 has just been published. It should fix all your bugs that you reported and also adds some requested features. Thanks to all of you for the reports and feature requests! Some of you really helped me fixing some problems and I really appreciate that.
@TooManyChins
Is this supposed to be a bug report? What do you mean by "Common Problem"? What do you mean by Vault is needed? It is required for permission signs, that's not a bug... Other signs will work without permission signs though. Command signs are working, I need a better explanation for me to reproduce the problem. There is only a problem where command signs with
&&
s in them won't work properly after restart, but this is already fixed in the new version that is currently reviewed by the BukkitDev Staff. I suggest reading this for future bug reports.@fabibalzu
I think the problem should be fixed in MagicSigns 1.4.1, which will be available for download when it's reviewed by the BukkitDev staff. For now, you can find at least the changelog here.
Only Command signs are the Problem and when i do /ms it says "This is just a normal sign!"
@Philipp15b
Thank you, and I'd love if you could add untill DC/the player die as well :D
