Knapsack (backpack)
( backpack ) Knapsacks
Knapsacks are backpacks on steroids for MineCraft. Injected with a ton of options for both players and server owners, Knapsacks should prove to be a valuable asset to any MineCraft server.
Description
Knapsacks allow players to craft & give themselves and other players additional inventory slots. Knapsacks is packed with options for the player as well as for server owners and operators. Among those are the infamous Auto-Filling. Auto filling allows player to control what items get stored in their Knapsacks and when. Depending on how Knapsacks is configured, players will be able to keep items organized in Knapsacks Auto-Fills. Players have,for the most part, complete control on when items are filled to a Knapsack both before and after their inventory is full!
Another under-rated feature is the Knapsack expiry system. This system was built with the server owners in mind to stop the abuse of Knapsacks (crafting excessive packs, giving, dropping, etc..). Optionally, server owners can set limits on how many of a specific size Knapsack each player can have at any given point as well as an overall setting of all Knapsack sizes a player has.
Knapsacks is exactly what the name states, a Backpack on steroids! Jammed with many, many more options and more still coming

Care to help keep Knapsacks alive! I could use a new coffee maker!!
@user_892472
Hey! Yes I have been asked this by a few other server owners as well. As soon as I get 1.0.12 released (hoping today or tom) then I will start the hook for the essentials signs and selling, etc...
@zrocweb
Shweet, finally a plugin that allows for items to automatically be transferred to the backpack when your inventory is full! :)!
Now one thing, I use the essentials sell features (especially the /sellall command). Would it be possible to allow players, when they use /sellall etc. to sell everything in their inventory including the items in their backpack?
If it's something you'd need to implement I'd be willing to throw in a considerable donation in advance. Lemme know whatcha' think!
Regards
The release for 1.0.12 has been pushed back due to some recent issues with the final testing. All is well just not happy with a few things and want them cleared up before release to avoid issues you would have! Looking like this weekend!
Knapsacks version 1.0.12 will be coming out very soon. Sorry for the delay but I had to get the glitches out of the Knapsack Auto-Fill code. The Auto Fill will allow you to maintain 100% full player inventory (yup, no requirement to have at least one empty slot) and pass items to your Knapsack(s) you define/set-up as Auto-Fill Sacks. Additionally, all AutoFill sacks can be further defined to only fill specific items(s) so you ween out any of the garbage you really don't want. But more importantly, it really helps all players organize their items depending on how many Knapsacks of each size are allowed to be in-play. An example might be you have 2 size 18 Sacks. Knapsack1 (size 18);- you would like to use one of them for all your mining collectibles like "ore, coal, flint". Set up Knapsack1's auto fill item definitions for just those items and only those items will go there. It's pretty limitless. Additionally you can define, at the player level, any item that should never hit a Knapsack. As a server-owner, you too have complete control over what items can never hit a players Auto-Fill Knapsack by setting the server-wide Auto-Fill Blacklist item definitions.
Anyhow hoping to get the final testing completed tonight and if all goes well 1.0.12 will be released (uploaded) to Bukkit on Wednesday or Thursday.
If you want it prior, just PM me with your email address and I'll email you a copy of the release.

@zrocweb I will PM you back. The plugin was great! I just don't like to see console get flooded with spam. So if the small things got fix Id prob end up using it and would support at a later date.
I currently use a Pack plugin and have been in search of a Dev who is active and updating.
@zachrywilsn
Hey! yeah you used the wrong command. to use the give command use:
/ks give playername size
so in your example you would have typed: /ks give zachrywilsn 18 The release of 1.0.12 is coming out tonight or tomorrow and will fix any glitches that I overlooked with some command inputs. I thought I covered all of them but missed a few cases (your was one of them and is resolved in the new release).
1.0.12 is packed with new features as well as some fixes...
As for uninstalling I will add a command to to just that so if you want to uninstall, prior to doing so you can run a command to clear every ones inventory of the monster eggs. However its a little hard than just doing what I said, at it affects offline player inventory which is not the easiest to obtain.
One last thing that may need at least to be noted. When you uninstall KS the KS item will stay in your inventory. So if you use the MonsterEgg but dont want them on your server. You may want to change the item before you use it.
I uninstalled while testing and I have all my KS well Eggs named "Beast Pack" If its possible make a way to uninstall with a clean up all packs option. This way the item don't stay in there inventory hand etc etc.
If its to hard to fix it please note it above so people don't install without testing and have tons of monster eggs all over. All in all seams to work pretty flawless. Aside from the few things Ive noted that may even be cleared up in your new update.
@zrocweb
This looks good but some commands seam to make errors in console. I know they may not be the right commands to use but its still some type of conflict.
Ability to buy Knapsacks with Eco?.... Maybe...
Need a cross-reference chart for those monster eggs, especially for use with the resource pack? Check out the Monster Egg Cross Reference page.
You wanted resource packs. You got them. Updated with links to 5 different flavors of resource packs.
Pack 1 is the just the Knapsacks
Pack 2 is the Knapsacks with added fonts (smooth)
Pack 3 is the Knapsacks with added fonts and blocks
Pack 4 is the Knapsacks with added fonts, blocks and entities
Pack 5 is the Knapsacks will everything above - a Full Pack.
The Full pack as well as blocks and entities are from a resource pack I edited awhile ago. I think the original pack name was Faithful or something like that!
The packs (packs plus fonts, etc..) have some nice textures and especially the fonts.
