What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Own a horse 2. It will become randomly slow at some point 3. It will be slow forever, untill you delete the horse and buy one again
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Horse should keep his speed. Instead it becomes slower than a running player randomly.
What version of the product are you using?
- Horses v1.1.6 - Spigot-1.6.4-R0.1-SNAPSHOT
Do you have an error log of what happened?
No error's or anything.
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using Spigot instead of Bukkit.
Is it sudden or gradual?
Why are you not using the recommended build of Craftbukkit?
Does anyone else get this ?
For multiple reasons. First one is that I own a Heroes server, wich can only run on Spigot. And second is that Spigot is way more stable and optimized for large servers.
I have a server with an average of 70 people online everyday, and like 20/30 people own a horse. It's just all suddenly. They just summon their horses and sometimes they suddenly have a slow horse. I checked if it had to do with water or feeding them, but I can't reproduce the problem in any way :/
How do you save the Horse speed progress? Do you reload the settings on a summon? Or do you save settings on death and reload them?
@Brocodo: Go
When it dies it copies all the attributes and saves them to the database.
Which one are you using by the way?
Also, your still using an out of date version. Spigot is up to 1.6.4-R1.1
Try updating.
Sorry for the looooong not responding thingy... I was a bit AFK on MC. But anyway, I found a way to reproduce it. If i use skills from heroes that slow entities and you cast it on a horse (Icebolt for example, slows for 1 second) then the horse will stay slow forever. Even after killing and resummoning it.
P.S. I don't know if you fixed this already
v1.1.9 might fix this.
We had a similar issue where you could throw a speed potion, dismiss your horse and then summon it again and it would be permanently faster.
