I LOVE YOU FOR THIS PLUGIN!
I'm fighting with a bit of a problem here.
I added this addon for my VIP group. I gave the right permissions to those players but everyone outside the group VIP can use it aswell. (normal players)
I already tried to negate the permissions in the normal players group. (-flight.on and so on) But that does not work.
Any advice?
edit: seems to only work with flight.toggle <
for everyoneThanks for making this plugin. It works great. I have Flight 1.0 installed on CraftBukkit 1.2.4-R1.0 with bPermissions 2.9.1 (running on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, 64-bit, Java 6)

Seeing as that the goal of this plugin is to allow creative flying to other players, I won't be adding speed limitations.
@waawaamp
I've tested and confirmed what you have said, but it isn't my plugin that causes the issue. It just uses built in Bukkit methods to allow flight, so I'll have to talk to one of the WG devs about it and see what they have to say.
@JoneKone
Tested this and can't re-produce it with a few other plugins on the server as well. Could I get a CB version and plugin list?
@waawaamp
Thats for the tip! That was a problem for me too. I set the Play Event to false like you suggested and its working perfectly!
I am not flying.

I'm getting this with my 1.2.3
Works Great! in my 1.2.4 RB server.
wonderful plugin, thanks loads lad!
just one thing though, i have tested it extensively and you have a conflict with WorldGuard
in particular the following piece of it:
use-player-move-event: false
this is set to True by default, which stops user flying (though all other aspects seem to work, commands, notifications etc)
I would not have told you of an issue with your plugin without properly hammering it first, as i hate those guys lol
hope this is as easy a fix for you as it turned out to be for me.
once again, brilliant plugin, thanks!
maybe a flight speed limitation?
awesome plugin
Works perfectly, A+
@waawaamp
lol, you should still be able to go under the "Files" tab near the top and download it before it gets approved on here :P
if it wasn't 2am here i'd sit up and wait for this lol
i've been using another one which seems to be based on the code for blaze flight, my users hate it soooooooo much lol
if this performs just like creative flight; win.
@Malachi21
Be happy then, because I just submitted it for BukkitDev approval, just re-doing the entire description now :P
Rock on, Ryanclancy. I'm looking forward to this immensely. I am constantly refreshing the page looking forward to a release. This is precisely what my server needs and my donators will be happy to know that a flight plugin that is actually easy to use and much like the creative flight will be released for their use! You should be praised
@rylinaux
Thanks for the quick response. The only problem I have with the timed permissions is typically these plugins just check the permission when the "let me fly" key is pressed. So users thats already flying get stuck in fly mode since they lost the permission node. Maybe the better solution would be the built in timed support that would be done within the plugin via command.
Thanks for looking into this, cant wait to test it.
@lbb601
Will have a release out tonight :)
@lipe124
There will be a permission node included for flight mode, so the timed permission will work for now. I'll add the timed flight to my idea list, sounds like a cool idea
Olloth the auth of spoutflight directed me to you.
I'm trying to do a system on my server where users can purchase flying time with ingame currency. Using serversigns and permissionsex' timed permission system I can give users a timed permission node to let them fly for 10min or w/e.
My question is thus: Will you be able to make the plugin so that it can support losing the ability to fly via a permission node or something like that? Or a native command built into the plugin that can be run from the console like: /fly <username> [time] So a mod/op/admin/serversigns can issue a command to allow users to fly always or for a time?
RB for 1.2.4 is out! Any update coming soon?
Is there any way I could get a beta version? :) I would really like to test this. Thank you :D
@Epsilon55
Once a beta build (or RB) comes out for craftbukkit 1.2.4, I will release the plugin :)
