View older versions

This build requires Minecraft 1.7.8 for the server, any other Minecraft version, older or newer, won't work.

The "Game Version" in the sidebar says the file is for Minecraft 1.7.4. I had to select that version, as there is no 1.7.8 option yet.

• Updated to be compatible with Minecraft 1.7.8.
• Now using UUIDs instead of names for chest files.
• Added a conversion process for all old chest files.
• Fixed a ConcurrentModificationException in the MySQL chest unload task.
• The MySQL database format now uses JSON to store the contents of the chest.

The conversion process does not support offline mode. BetterEnderChest saved the chests with the lowercase version of the username. Offline mode UUIDs are based on the correct cased name of the player. This makes conversion almost impossible. Of course, I could maintain two different saving systems, but I'm not going to put much effort into supporting servers pirating the game.

The above does not apply to servers behind Bungeecord. As long as the Bungeecord instance is a) running in online mode and b) has set ip-forwarding to true, everything will work fine.

Make a backup. The conversion process cannot be undone, and you cannot downgrade to earlier versions of BetterEnderChest.

To achieve name-->UUID conversion, BetterEnderChest uses evilmidget38's UUIDFetcher, which was modified a little bit. This requires access to https://api.mojang.com.

The importers of MyWorlds, Multiverse-Inventories, MultiInv and WorldInventories haven't been updated yet to use UUIDs. This is not yet possible, as those plugins haven't yet been updated to use UUIDs. When they update, please report it to me, so I can make the necessary changes to BetterEnderChest.

• When uninstalling: players will lose their items in the Ender Chests.
