A workaround is being worked on.

- Kick, ban, IP-ban or range-ban players
- Temporarily ban or IP-ban players
- Automatically punish players that are blacklisted by DNSBL services
- Warn players and execute commands after a certain amount of warnings
- Get notified when two players with the same IP adress join or compare IPs manually per command
- Lock IPs to a single name
- Recieve a list of all players and their IPs from the console
- Make players immune to all commands or whitelist them to protect them from bans
- Check a player's status including warnings, kicks, bans, temporary bans and more
- Send players information about their own warnings whenever they login
- Purge a player's data with a simple command
- Fully costumizable messages for everything including broadcasts
- Only explicit autocomplete for safer administration
- Update notifications

Information on further development
Hey guys, DJ Addi here. With version 1.3.0 the plugin reached a point where I'd say it is more or less finished. If there are bugs or important features that require an update I will release a new version as fast as possible (without waiting for stuff to pile up). However, it is unlikely that new big features will be added (unless I really like them so keep the suggestions coming).
Stay tuned for updates on the release of DynamicBan 2.0.
Currently working on:
- Cleaning up database code, adding missing comments to other classes
- Moving ban-types to separate tables to allow future scalability (We cannot easily append missing fields, but we can add on missing tables if a new feature is added).

Just ban users by username & IP address. The chances of a user spending another $30 just so they can grief your server is slim. :P

@KoolSource
Thanks for the info.
Do you might know a way to prevent a person from logging in under different usernames with a same IP like a hacker?
Maybe a way to connect the IP and the original user?
Thanks
I would love to use this as a replacement for the now deprecated KiwiAdmin, however I am unable to do so until MySQL is supported.
If you need any help with the development of the MySQL backend let me know and I might be able to provide some assistance :)

The MAC address of a computer is not broadcast across the internet. You simply don't get this kind of data and therefore Bukkit has no way of accessing it to be able to do anything with it (meaning no this isn't possible)
Can you add support for MAC adress banning?
@deleted_7554077
Comparing IP's, is easy. IP login history? I think what you meant by that is displaying the players IP? In the details page for each player, it displays the latest IP aswel as the most current IPs. Duplicate IPs will have to include a new file, maybe a new system, im not sure, and I'll try to do the other stuff when I have the time, thanks! - xDrapor
WOW, this seems to be the next most awesome ban plugin of all time after EasyBan :D
Can you please add some of EasyBan features?
Like comparing IP's, finding duplicates, IP login history, range bans for subnets and IP ranges?
Thanks!
Waiting forward using this plugin.
@DynamicDev
Alright, thanks :)
@imendel
Only the IP is banned, but, if the player joins with the nickname, and his IP is banned, it'll automatically kick the person, just as an IP-Ban should work Also that command is only in 1.2.3, found here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/dynamicban/files/11-dynamic-ban-1-2-3/
When you do /dbip, does it bans the player's nickname aswell as the IP-Address or only the IP is banned?
@DrFusion
I'll look into it, I re-did the listeners in the new version, so this problem shouldn't occur. I'll try to get the new version up asap, why plugins are you using at the moment?
so whats wrong?

Just so you guys know, I took a short break, but now I'm back and its under full development again!
@xDrapor
sent you a request on skype btw please accept :p
@xDrapor
yeah add me on skype im online at the moment you just posted that 5 minutes ago. my skype user is ipodtouch3x3 and my name is ivan rosales.
Nope, I dont rent one, although I will be soon. Ill add you on skype, we can chat there
@xDrapor
what mysql host do you use? do you rent one from beastnode, if you have a skype add me on ipodtouch3x3 and you can help me there
@IPodTouch3x3
What is your db host, ill try to help u as soon as I get home, if your using 000webhost, you cannot connect externally. If your using db4free.net, its unreliable, doesnt log sometimes. Make sure you db is setup correctly, as in, try to make sure your username, password, port,database name(this has to be created on the sql), host, etc, are all correct. note that these details are infact casesensitive with my past experiences If it still doesnt work, Ill talk to you once I get home, Im not gonna be home for abit.
@xDrapor
Hey xDrapor I own a server hosted on beastnode.com Im having trouble connect mysql to the plugin hawkeye. Do you think you can help me? My email is [email protected] please help me as soon as possible I really need hawkeye for my server :(
@itsMEE2
There already is a system, I mentioned it above. I agree, its hard to find a users IP, thats why I took the trouble to code a decent unbanning system!
EDIT: OMG, I didnt add it to the list, thanks!
