This plugin adjusts the mob dropping mechanics to include regularly dropped enchanted items that could be commonly found in Diablo.

If a plugin is missing something you desire, making a post to show support for that thing would be a great way to make the devs aware that something is desired by the people who use the plugin. Even though nobody spoke up about wanting ruins, the module was on the to-do list, albeit fairly far from the top.
So before calling a plugin trash for not having a feature you want, how about telling us you want that feature, eh?

The ruins may have been the selling point for you, but they weren't the selling point for everyone. Did you read his post? There's a simple and easy API to use for Modules. Any developer who can write Bukkit plugins can write Modules simply and easily.
And yes, there have been plans in the works for months for a RuinsModule.

I was the tester for both Mythicdrops and DiabloDrops. I have more experience with using either of them than you can possibly imagine. DiabloDrops was not in any way user friendly, something that MythicDrops has improved upon.
So no ruins, eh? Lawdy, lawdy, whatever shall we do? I mean, it isn't like the socketing system and item customization in DiabloDrops is flawed to the core, constituting a complete rewrite or anything. All those +'s and -'s? No, they're really helpful in divining what the item does. Why have additional descriptive text, a clear concise effect, or enhanced name customization (http://i.imgur.com/l1IUS9z.png) when you can have '-1 damage resistance' (http://i.imgur.com/Vp22oz1.png) which in DiabloDrops, applies damage resistance to the user when hit with an attack. I like when my users become confused about negative numbers adding to their stats. Especially when I cannot control the duration of the effect!
And it isn't like the 2.0.0 has a module system that allows you, or a dev, to make their own add-ons to the much more versed item customization. Its not like shines and ruins would be less buggy, more efficient, and actually contain logical items.
I too moved on when Death_marine stopped responding so much, and found a new, in my opinion improved version. I wouldn't be here now, had you not shown such comical aggression that I just HAD to post! I too wish you the best, toiling in mediocrity isn't overly fun.

Back up, man. There's no need to be insulting here. All I was doing was letting people know that there was an alternative. Never did I say (nor is it on the project's page) that MythicDrops is better than DiabloDrops. Also, I didn't just "jump ship" and "steal his idea." I worked on the plugin alone for about three months before deciding I needed a change. I credit Death_marine on the project page and whenever people ask me about it. He taught me a lot and I have a lot of respect for him. As you just said in your post, he's not responding (and hadn't been for about a month or two when I left). I wish you the best.

My staff are taking matters into our own hands.
We got DiabloDrops fully up to date for 1.6.2 fixed all damage events and chunk populate events, working on merging all of Death_marine's plugins into one now.
I too have messaged him about taking over his project and he has ignored me as well, but i do not appreciate my console being flooded with errors so im doing something about it.

Your plugin is crap, the thing that made DiabloDrops unique was it spawning treasure chests and shrines in the overworld and nether. You taking out that and claiming its an updated version is like a chinese company calling its $1 brand better then the $1000 brand using crappy materials. Your a leech that abandoned ship cause you did not agree to how Death_Marine coded his plugins, so instead stole his entire idea from him and call yours "better".

For those asking about a new version, I have created a new version. It's been out for a while. It's called MythicDrops and it has almost all the same functionality that DiabloDrops has. It's just missing ruins and commands to customize the item in your hand. It's also being updated. Seeing as this is in the same state it was when I left, I figured I would let y'all know.
Best plugin ever. Hope someone is gonna make new version or something.

Please for the love of god update this plugin, i think Death_Marine lost all motivation to continue this plugin.
This plugin is a huge part of my servers and i do not want to part with it, i was here testing the plugin giving feedback and reporting errors and suggestions since the first day this plugin was made and seeing it die off like this is sad.
The thing that surprises me is even though this plugin is outdated and has not been updated in ages it works on all my servers bukkit and technic from 1.4.7, 1.5.2 and 1.6.2 server versions, I hope that when he does decide or you decide to make a updated version of it and fix all the errors it will continue to be multi version compatible.

What does enemys shrink do?

It does but some of the enchants don't work apparently (mob freeze) and some will crash your server (lightning). You can remove them from the offense/defense files to prevent them from dropping, I believe.
I've seen this plugin played on current servers that I play on, does anyone know if it works for MC1.6.2 servers still?
Death_marine, please update DiabloDrops, if you don't want, I want to ask you, if I may update your plugin in future, so I would create "DiabloDrops Reloaded", which is just the same as the original but i just would update and maybe add some things. Don't worry I wouldn't remove any of the current features :)
This plugin is amazing but there is only one thing I am struggling with atm. I have set up 5 tiers and their drop chances are working perfectly but i want the tier 5 to be unidentified when picked up but when identified I want it to stay tier 5, instead it keeps the diamond material and uses a random tier :( if anyone can help me pm or reply please.
A player got some boots with -2 Lightning on it. A short time later, he jumped off a small ledge and took a small amount of damage, but at that moment, lightning spam basically killed the server. It was audible (strike after strike, in the most spammy way) for 10 minutes solid and no one could do anything until I forced the server down in the most unsafe way. How do I prevent people from getting that? I only have lore items enabled with safe enchants.
EDIT: I see multiple tickets about this going back 6-9 months. One claims it was fixed:

I'm taking lightning lines out of defenselore.txt, but I'm not sure if that will prevent future lightning items or not. If this is a known and consistent issue, I would urge you strongly to remove this from the defaults(!)
Also, I was tweaking the 'chance' setting under IdentifyTome in the config, and it didn't seem like it worked at all, even with 100% chance. I'm not sure if that's broken or I'm misunderstanding what it does (causes mobs to drop tomes?).

For some reason all the DD drops on my server from before 1.6 are crashing my server/players clients when they pick them up! know any fix :(??
Is DiabloDungeonBridge configurable to make better items the further you get from spawn?
Also, can you make a permission node so only certain players can use different colored items?
