Player Death Actions #8

    My ticket is about adding actions after a players death, I have listed them below, please PM me about these if you don't understand, I really like this plugin but I feel these would make it more "customizable" and then it would be more suited for more servers Also, could you give me credit for my ideas if any get added? These all should be toggleable and most should be customisable, I think I could help with some of the development too

    Player-related actions after death:

    • The player gets booted from server
    • The player goes into "Ghost"/"Spectator" mode which will have invisibility and fly but can't be heard by players in game (but can be heard by other "Ghosts"/"Spectators") (Custom permissions also?)
    • The player goes into "Donator" mode which is like "Ghost"/"Spectator" mode but they can drop a customisable amount of items (with a white/blacklist and maybe amount limit of items)
    • Make the player's "body" (Like lying in a bed) lie at their death point (using their skin or other skin?)
    • Make a sound
    • Spawn a mob (e.g. spawn a zombie or a zombie pigman "revived" from the dead (controllable by the player?))(spawn different mobs if they die from a different death type e.g. zombie if killed by anything that isn't listed, skeleton if burn't or killed by a mob)
    • Spawn temp mobs (e.g. spawn 5 bats for 3 seconds)

    Other actions:

    • Start a timer for a respawn for some ranks (with a set amount of respawns per game, e.g. VIP 1 respawn, 1m timer VIP+ 2 respawns, 45s timer)(they won't count as players until revived and maybe add a pvp timer for a certain time (different for different ranks?))
    • Check how many players remain and set a timer (even 0s) then teleport players to a certain place or spawn for a death match, stop other players respawn timers and make a temp "border" that players cannot cross to "escape"

    I will list what we already have in the dev build that I added and what is already in it or I was already planning.

    - The player gets booted from server DEV BUILD can kick all players at end of game config.yml

    - The player goes into "Ghost"/"Spectator" mode which will have invisibility and fly but can't be heard by players in game (but can be heard by other "Ghosts"/"Spectators") (Custom permissions also?) DEV BUILD can force players to go into spectate mode config.yml

    - The player goes into "Donator" mode which is like "Ghost"/"Spectator" mode but they can drop a customisable amount of items (with a white/blacklist and maybe amount limit of items) There is a /hg sponsor command which lets people with a specific permission node to sponsor themselves (planning on ability to sponsor others also) The number of items they receive is modifiable in config.yml and in sponsor.yml the items that have a chance and their percentage of appearing which is also customizable

    - Make the player's "body" (Like lying in a bed) lie at their death point (using their skin or other skin?) Maybe if I could figure out how to make this happen

    - Make a sound "Fake" lightning strikes the location of their death doing thunder sound. I say fake because it doesn't do damage just the effect

    For the two spawn mobs I do not understand exactly what you are talking about, so if you could expand on those it would be helpfull.

This might be interesting to add so I will look into this as well as the players body

    - Check how many players remain and set a timer (even 0s) then teleport players to a certain place or spawn for a death match, stop other players respawn timers and make a temp "border" that players cannot cross to "escape" There already is this edit number of players needed in config.yml and in the dev build you can edit the length of time before deathmatch actually starts the "timer" and it calculates from the set spawns a few blocks past so that it has a box around it
