Creating an Arena and Setting it Up
Creating a ColorShuffle arena isn't hard, but it does require some special considerations as far as placement is concerned.
- Below the floor of the arena you should be able to drop into the void. the closer you are to the void the better.
- The floor of the arena is constructed with 1 layer of ice with carpet on top of it.
- The floor can be any color.
- In order to set the position of the mats just place carpet in another color than the main floor color. If you want two mats that are touching each other then do them in different colors to keep them separate. Mats should be square, however, some other shapes may work as well. Feel free to experiment.
- In order to create the sign with the current color on it just place brown clay blocks where you want it to change to the current wool color.
- All arenas must have at least 11 plain floor blocks, 2 color mats, and 3 sign blocks in order to successfully create the arena. Once you are done creating your arena just do /color setup and follow the in game instructions!
Creating Join/Status Signs
To create a colorshuffle sign you need the colorshuffle.setup permission node. The format of the join sign goes like this:
- [csarena]
- arenaname
To display the players in an arena or are in the queue for an arena place a sign with this text on it:
- [csstatus]
- arenaname
- sign#
Example:
- [csstatus]
- test
- 1
Would show 4 players on the sign. You can use the numbers 1-4 for a total of 16 players being displayed.
Upon successful creation of a join sign it will show you stats about the current game. With the status signs they usually go blank unless players have used that arena after the last server restart.
Protecting Your Arenas
Although the plugin does prevent players who are in the current game from breaking/placing blocks, we have opted not to include any major arena protection in order to keep the plugin light. If players are going to be able to get to the arena outside of being in a game we suggest protecting it with WorldGuard or GriefPrevention in order to prevent griefing.
FAQ
Q: Why can't I hear any sounds? I placed note blocks just like in RSMV.net
A: Although this plugin is based on the current code base as the one on RSMV.net some features have been removed, including sounds, cheat protection, and the Enjin Points integration.
Q: Is there any way for me to get the version with all the features that is on RSMV.net?
A: At this current time: no. Those features are staying exclusive to RSMV.net
Q: Can I make an arena for you guys and have you put it on RSMV.net?
A: You are more than welcome to create an arena and submit it to us! Just send me a PM with a link to either the world file or the worldedit schematic. If we like it and put it on our server we'll give you 100 enjin points to spend on our website.

When i have this plugin. People dont take fall damage in ALL the worlds including the survival world. So players are free to have no fall damage? Please fix.
How to change time for round? Tried edit firstroundticks and decayvalue but nothing happends :(
@DJWeownthis
Yes, it has, it just has to be approved by bukkit dev staff before it shows up.
@Tux2
Has version 1.4 been Uploaded?
@DJWeownthis
Bug fixed in version 1.4, thanks for reporting it! Also added is an option for toggling whether the blocks fall or just disappear at the end of each round. /color togglefallingblocks will toggle it. The change is immediate and will affect any current games.
Bug: When a player in my server disconnects randomly... lets say they log back in and they get logged in in the arena and with the wools from the arena... now maybe theres some bug here thing or its simply the plugin that i use to keep server more secure its "Authme Reloaded" ? o.O any ideas?
edit: Backup ok I'll do it in my next restart :P
@DJWeownthis
It's actually backed up when you create it, as a way to save you from having to setup the arena every time it gets deleted (we had a little problem with that on RSMV.net that I THOUGHT I solved). So yeah, you've already got a backup. :D
@Tux2
Well the BIG yellow small wall thing that's suppose to be Brown Clay hehe and umm the letters too.. i guess the humans can just fix the small big yellow wall thing xD
Delete Arena reply: No, no errors its simply gone out of the /color list, and also if i try to Join it too..I forgot to try the Backup I'll attempt to Backup it when my next restart occurs.
@xInfamouZChannel
Hmm... good idea, I'll probably put it in the next version.
@DJWeownthis
Lol! It's in there, I just forgot to document it. To create a colorshuffle sign you need the colorshuffle.setup permission node. The format of the join sign goes like this:
[csarena]
arenaname
To display the players in an arena or are in the queue for an arena place a sign with this text on it:
[csstatus]
arenaname
sign#
Example:
[csstatus]
test
1
Would show 4 players on the sign. You can use the numbers 1-4 for a total of 16 players being displayed.
@coreymichealroy @DJWeownthis
That's very odd. Are there any errors in console? Also, every time you make an arena it makes a backup, so you can always do /color restore <arenaname> to bring it back from the backup.
@DJWeownthis
Looks cool! Is the signs in the arena brown clay in the schematic or is it already wool?
@coreymichealroy
Having the same problem with arenas getting deleted when restart server.
I made a small/medium Arena: http://www.minecraft-schematics.com/schematic/2013/
Found a bug: When I restart my server the arena gets deleted
Will you be Releasing the Sign feature for the Minigame, like saying something like this?: http://prntscr.com/2aowts
Very nice plugin, but i have too much lag when the blocks fall down, so, can you add in a config file (or in-game command) a function to make the blocks disappear? I ask you this because users with a bad pc may get bored of the lag!
@DJWeownthis
I post my videos on http://youtube.com/thetux2 although the video will be embedded on this page as well.
@Tux2
Youtube channel name?

@AnAwesomeGuy
I'll be recording a video about how to setup an arena in just a few minutes, but make sure that you have at least this in your arena: 10 base carpets for the arena floor, at least 2 mats, and more than 3 sign blocks. I'll be putting this information up in the description as well.
EDIT: Just so you know, after reading your two reports I loaded up my test server again and created a test arena no problem so the arena creation is working properly.
I got a problem when i make the arena this is what i do i set a layer of ice and on top of it i put white carpet and just to test i put a brown stained clay block in the middle 3 9x9 carpets. One in pink one in blue and one in green i get to the point where i have to set the two corners i stand a under on of the arena corners say ready go to the opposite corner and stand a little bit over and say ready. it says something went wrong and it found "we found 0 blocks of arena, 6 color pads and 1 sign block" and it does not say anything in console.
please help
Don't works for me, Tested a 1000 times to create a arena but every time he says that there are not enouch blocks in the arena but i got ice, On top of the ice white carpets and i got colored carpets on some places of the white carpet with a squire....
Will you be releasing some of your maps?
or do we have to make our own? O.o
