This plugin allows you to lock buttons and blocks in Minecraft.

hi, If you wannt the access of a chest costs them, it is quit easy: add a price to the chest by enter "/bl group costs 1000" or "/bl g c 1000"

it is currently not possible to make the creation of locked groups (e.g a chest) cost a price.

How do I make it so when people make a locked chest it costs them 1000?

For example I want /setpw private private to cost 1000

Please help!

Nope, ButtonLock does not support Valut, yet.

Hi,

Basically, everytime any player presses the button, they get charged an amount of money and this gets paid to the owner of the button. However, the button is not password protected.

The idea is to allow any player to use the button. However, if they do, they get charged for it.

It's quit simple:

Define a private protection on to the button with /setpw <anypassword> private. Now no password is required. Use /buttonlock group owner add and /buttonlock group owner remove to add and remove other players which are allowed to use this button too.

(I prefer the short forms of the commands ;) /setpw <anypasword> pr and /bl g o a and /bl g o r see also: ButtonLock command-list)

I have another question:

Is it possible to make a button or lever protected without a password? For instance, I want to charge a player to use the button, rather than prompt them for a password.. An example is similar to the motel door idea, where a player is charged per use of the door, but does not need to use a password. If it is already a feature, I cannot for the life of me figure it out haha!

I have a problem, iron doors I can not lock. But in the config file, it is registered with the name IRON_DOOR_BLOCK. I'm doing something wrong? ask for quick response thanks in advance with friendly greet Geehra

Hi, wasn't here for a while ...
I checked this out and you are right, the owner isn't payed for it ...
Seems like a bug which exist for a long time ...
A wounder that nobody else found it yet :)

Hey Mr X, havent had any problems of such - I think i may be overlooking something here.... but if i add a cost to a locked group, does the owner get paid from the user? or is it supposed to charge any user of the locked door/button etc including the owner?.

An example is a player wants to have a motel, with doors protected with different passwords... every time they enter the room, they are charged (door fee). the payment is subtracted from the user, but the owner is not getting paid? I am using Iconomy... any help is great help.

Hi MrX,

The problem seems to have been fixed on my server with the 1.3.4 release ! :) Thankyou very much for continuing with the development of this plugin; it is fantastic.

FYI: Previously when I was having issues there were no error messages in the console. I could set passwords and then close my server and the locked groups yml file would be full of locked ID's. However, if I did not type: "/bl rl" upon resetting the server, the config file would be cleared on next exit (obviously because on exit the server would save the config file as it is, which was blank.) It looked like it was successfully able to save the locked groups, but was unable to load it automatically on server start.

please give me more information: - when does it happens? - are there error messages? - etc.

A fixed version (1.3.4) is out please make sure if the problem still exists after updating ...

Am having a huge problem... Whenever I restart my server I lose all my passwords. My LockedGroups.yml keep getting wiped and blanked out after restart.

hi

actually it is not possible to place a block on any side of a locked chest or a locked door ... so a griefer cant place a block on top of a chest, so you can't open it ...

The feature to lock areas isn't implementes yet ... I recommand to use several security plugins besides this one ...
