BigBrother
BigBrother is a powerful plugin that enables you to investigate roll back griefing via a large and all-knowing MySQL or Postgres-based database. You have a choice between using immensely powerful commands to search an area for changes, or you can whack a block with a stick or place a log to see changes within a single block.
- /bb log - Gives you the BigBrother Multipurpose Tool, or a simple log. Hit something with it to see changes in that spot, and place it if the block you're checking is non-solid, like water, lava or air.
- /bb done - Removes the log from your inventory, and gives you back any items it replaced.
- Want to check an entire area? Use /bb here to list who changed what!
-
Need to roll back EvilGuy and DoucheBug's edits? Use /bb rollback EvilGuy DoucheBug!
- Have to roll back edits up to 5 minutes ago? Simple! /bb rollback t:5m
- Need to only roll back within a certain radius? /bb rollback r:<radius-in-blocks>
- Roll back specific actions with /bb rollback a:10,BLOCK_PLACE
- If you screw up, /bb undo
- (NEW) /bb history "Suspicious Guy" to see that player's recent history! (add pg:# to go to page #)
- Mow your lawn with /bb mowlawn!
Lol, "/bb log"..... "/bb done" You don't HAVE a history log doofus. :P
@Pvt0neill
They are all based off the same thing, just different ways to store data as well as different interfaces. So I dont understand how you can dis, on the other grief-watching systems. Oh and this project has been DEAD for a long time, they are all merging into 1 system.... Its been in development for 2 years now.

However it seems they all go AWALL at times.

HELP ME!
how do i setup a sqlite or mysql database for this im very confused and any help would be greatly appreciated
Well this is an interesting problem. My admins log in and are informed that they're still using bb log. when they use /bb done, it calls them dumb and tells them they weren't using the bb log. When they use /bb log, it does the same thing, this time telling them they're already using it. None of us can get it disabled in game, meaning we can't place logs. Very interesting bug.
Can someone give me a 1.9.1 download link? Supposedly that one works
@dunem666
development on bigbrother has halted.

@quickclay
is this causing too much of an issue? i was considering on using it
Verion 1.9.1 build 581 seems to be working fairly stable on my 1.0.1 server with CB 1566. Problem is that in the event of a server crash, BB can cause huge rollbacks of built structures if it hasn't written to it's database when it happens.
plugin dead?
hoping to have found some test builds for 1.0.0
however i might jsut try the old one, it seems stable enough.
