About bSpace
bSpace is the one and only plugin that generates spaceworlds for your server! Ever wanted to fly around in space and make awesome looking spaceships? You can now do that and many other things with bSpace! Just want an awesome world generator? Well, we can offer that too!
NOTICE
bSpace is in the mature stage of this plugin. As such, I do not spend much time on it at all. However, I do generally post bug fixes, especially for bigger bugs. If you would like a new feature, please make a ticket (top of page) for it. Unfortunately, my Jenkins server has been disabled, so I can't post any dev builds.
Features
- Spaceworlds with customizable planet and asteroid generation
- Spacehelmets and suits, can be turned on and off
- Pail (a Bukkit GUI) support - Pail is outdated. Don't expect support in the future.
- World manager support
- Basic breathable areas (where no helmets or suits are required)
- Awesome Spout features such as gravity and black holes
bSpace has many other features, but because we want to save some space (get it?), we only list the most important ones. If you want to know what the spaceworlds look like, you can hop onto the Images-section.
The following video is very old and does not accurately represent the current state of bSpace. However, it does show the basic planet generation. I do not have control over it.

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server.

What should I choose?
- Downloading from Jenkins is reccomended; it provides the most flexible downloads of everything:
- Download the development for untested fixes/bugs.
- Download the tested build for builds that have no known bugs, but have features or fixes not in the release build
- Download the release build if you want a build that has been built solely as a wrap-up of new features or fixes.
If you have trouble installing, don't forget to check our very own installing and updating guide. There are links to all guides below, under the giant Pages-text. There are also some guides for developers.
Issues
We request that any issues that are found be posted on GitHub. Don't forget to give us information such as

@iffa2
been using http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admn-gen-info-tp-rpg-myworlds-v1-13-multi-world-plugin-with-a-touch-1185.31718/ over multiverse works much better, It lets your plugin generate on startup as well. but there is an issue with your plugin since 1,8 If I use the world generated on startup I go to that world I die in 2s with a " Player health should be 0-200" exception error.
If I remove worlds from your config and let the myworld plugin handle it and assign it this generator World loads I go to it no more issue
.
@neokyle21
World should generate on load. This is to be changed soon though.
@iffa2
Question. Does the world generate when the plugin is first loaded, or when someone first enters space?
I remember styxspace would say so many planets were generated on its first run. All isee from bannanaspace is that it was enabled.
@neokyle21
Then you're doing something wrong.
@iffa2
Does not seem to work with pex which supports superperms. :(
@neokyle21
Superperms is supported. Check the plugin.yml inside the jar if you want to know the commands and perms.
@iffa2
Support for superperms?
Also not seeing any page that details permissions or commands. Yes i looked at your wiki, read each section.
@iffa2
Damn well I wont be using the helmet bit then or I will make it so u always need a space suit in space.
@ledhead900
Checking for a real room would kill the server (because that happens every time a player moves an inch in space).
@iffa2
Awesome maybe actually a better thing to do other then to have the random builds appear when u explore would be to allow schematic files to be used and placed, Much like the WorldFeatures plugin as that is what I am using currently so personally I may not end up using the station generation as I needed a custom object gen for all worlds as I wanted to make custom villages and random stuff in the 1.9 worlds. So make sure you can toggle that part of generation off.
so sorry I actually did not know u had 1.4 feature list :s, I have a tweak to suggest If a I may about 1.4 and the current way the room sizes work.
What I think would work better is that any build that is not enclosed and does not have at least 1 airlock being Irondoor will cause suffocation with out the space suit and helmet.
Reason I mention this I choose not to use the roomsizes in the end due to fact I rather have rooms that have holes in them leak o2 but rooms with out holes and are properly sealed will not.
This is something you will probably need to work out but I'm just sayin that in the end I turned off the space suit stuff so I could make large fleets of ships and ppl wont die in them with out a suit. Also Myworld needs to be tested on as I currently use this over multiverse. It should work fine tho.
Also another idea could be a ITEMblacklist for that world to stop ppl making wood or dirt buildings.
@ledhead900
Those sound cool, "flight" is already implemented as in gravity changes. After 1.9 I guess I can work on those.
@iffa2
Thats about all I got right now
77 comments... but it feels so little! I'm running out of "new features" to add for v1.4, ideas?
@honeycomb5
I don't personally use them but I do not see why not, It appears to be listening to the Generator plugin for the other features such as always night.
My fix simply allowed it to generate smoothly with out an error and getting the generation features working again, The plugin options you speak off should be working as well.
@ledhead900
Ok, for those of you following, I believe I understand why Mv2 is having trouble on world generation. If you would like to see my explanation check here
@ledhead900
Will this add the cool features like airlock and those things?
@iffa2
:P Typo I rectified it.
@ledhead900
I would not trying out either.
@iffa2
Well It worked :P, I mentioned I was going to try this and apparently MV2 just has a hard time generating a world with planets on a first run basis. but if my fix proved anything it is that this plugin works fine and its MV that has an issue with it. Clearly seemed to cooperate with the planets after a pre-generation of the world. If only someone would try confirm it for me as I have only tested this on my local setup.
It is about as good as its going to get until they fix it but I'm just glad it worked and hope it fixes it for the rest of the people who got stuck like me.
Now its time to go use that WorldFeatures plugin to make some nifty wrecks and Stations to discover.
Oh I have a request tho need to add the 1.8 blocks in this plugin :P, I would not mind trying out some stone cores and Cracked stone shells.
