AntiCheat
AntiCheat development and support was discontinued September 7th, 2014. The previous page is archived here for reference purposes. Official downloads are still available for use as is the project source code. You must use these at your own risk as I can no longer vouch for their rate of success.
There's a "Reloaded" version of this project which has been updated for the newer versions and is under current development. You should give it a look if you're interested in continuing to use AntiCheat: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anticheatreloaded/
Thanks to everyone who has supported the AntiCheat project. Recently I have resigned my position as BukkitDev Team Lead and have decided to move on from Bukkit development. Unfortunately, this means that I will no longer be actively working on the AntiCheat source code, and as such I have decided to close the project.
Many thanks to JetBrains who have provided their IntelliJ IDE for development. Thanks to the many contributors to this project who's code helped do good in the community. Thanks to those of you who have provided your support in many different ways to the project: you know who you are, you made my life a lot better and I can't thank you enough for that. I am happy to say that this project has improved people's lives, and I couldn't have ever hoped to say more.
I am doubting about some features of this plugin. For example, long reach check. I am using a gun plugin on my server, and I use NoCheat+, it would block me because of many reasons (fight.distance, no.swing, etc.). But when I use AntiCheat, the guns work flawlessly. How can AntiCheat accomplish this, does the feature really work, and is it compatible with every plugin?
Plus, I want to report that Forcefield is working (you can attack monster behind you without having to look at it), and can you add a critical hack check? Thank you. I tested against build #90 of AntiCheat.
Thank you for the excellent plugin.
BlackDamp Approved.
@gohbender
The newest dev build is #89, you have some catching up to do.
@gohbender
I would love this to be fixed too, my users are having major problems being kicked constantly :( Also, all my users are being kicked for fast break AND fast place which isn't to do with mcmmo but they are still being warned even though they aint hacking one bit. Also the no eat thing thinks everyone is hack eating.
Hi there, this is a mod compatibility issue. I'm using build #53, CB 1.2.5-R1.0. Anyways, the problem I'm having is with this and mcMMO. There are a few abilities that mcMMO gives you that must look like hacking to this plugin (fast mining/digging on a cooldown). There isn't really any error that pops up, but you are unable to mine/dig anything while these abilities are activated. It would be all kinds of awesome if you could add some sort of exception for mcMMO.
@gravity_low
a few exceptions being that your plug-in blocks more or less?
@therealfuzz
NoCheatPlus is a fork of NoCheat, and this is a completely original plugin, so even though they have both been around for about the same amount of time, that one is a bit larger because it's just a continuation of an old plugin. But from what I've seen, AntiCheat does block about as much as NoCheat+ does, with a few exceptions. You have to remember it's only 3 days released now :)
@Trusebruse
There is no possible way to force op yourself.
Is there any hack that can give a player non op player op or something? if so.. Please make a op blocker thing :)
@gabesarch
Use the latest dev build, as I had an issue before with most things not working. Nearly everything works now.
Out of curiosity, why is NoCheatPlus a lot larger than this? Are there more features, or less code optimization?
Hey H31IX Congratz on your Plugin. Looks great Please Check your Msg -Brain_monkey
@gabesarch
It's never really 'finished', but if nothing is working that's an issue. Can you please tell me a little bit more about what's going on? Have you tried the latest dev build? Have you actually tried cheating to see if it's blocked? What exactly isnt working?
So this plugin isn't finished yet, Is that why nothing is working? Or is it something on my side?
@cuddyier
Spoke to you on IRC about that. It was a dev build issue that is now fixed.
@Adrenalineq
Just turn xray alerts off then, and ignore whoever has a "gold farm"
<<reply 709042="">>
IDEA: Can you add to x-ray feature to check only choosed blocks? example: Gold, Iron, Diamond etd. Because i have gold mine and i have too many fail messages at chat ^_^
@gabesarch
Confirmed, it does in fact block nothing apart from flying. That's it. All the warnings appear in the console, but Anticheat does nothing about it :( It doesn't e.g. add them to /anticheat report nor does it kick or warn them. It only actually seems to warn and kick for no fall damage, that works well. The fastbreak warning is very sensitive when using a diamond pickaxe, it brings up a lot of false positives. Also when you are flying, Anticheat thinks you are walking on water. I am using dev build #86
Its not blocking fastbreak or forcefield for me and probably a lot of the others. Is this a bug?
@cuddyier
I've added something in dev #84 that stops flying clients from getting hit by NoFall checks as they descend, but after testing zombe's flymod on two servers with only the 'anticheat.zombe.fly' permission node, it seems to be working just fine.
If there are actually no 'errors' (after turning on logging [/anticheat log enable]) that means it's not coming from AntiCheat.
For some reason, when I give people all the permissions to fly, they cannot even leave the ground and it is really glitchy, with zombe's fly mod. Would you know why? No errors.
@QualityQ
I've contacted the AutoSneak dev about compatibility. As for Darkbrotherhood, I don't think it should conflict. For your command issue, use /anticheat help for info about commands.
@Jamesst20
Well again I can tell you that it's not an AntiCheat problem and that AntiCheat does indeed work on every other server I have seen, you're the only one having an issue. Have you tried actually using a hack on the server to see if it works and turning console logging on in the config so you can see when it's blocking something?
