Anti-Enchant
Anti-Enchant is a Bukkit plugin which allows you to limit or forbid players on your server to use certain enchants on certain items. That's actually about it there is to say about it, it's quite simple! Please, after downloading, proceed to 'How to' page for further instructions.
As of 23rd of November, 2016 this plugin is being updated to the most recent version of Minecraft. Please, standby.

Latest version: Anti-Enchant 1.5 - January 4, 2015
Installing the plugin
Simply drag and drop the '.jar' file into your 'plugins' directory for your server. Reload (restart) your server, and the plugin should be installed, along with a folder that just appeared, which contains the configuration!
Configuring the plugin
There will be number of lines for each item in the game. Simply tag the item you wish to make not enchantable with 'false', and proceed to save the config, enter the game and use /ae_reload command.
Commands
- '/ae_reload' - reloads the plugin configuration file after it has been modified
- '/ae_unenchant' - disenchants the item the player's currently holding in their hands
- '/ae_table' - spawns an enchanting table with some bookshelves around the player
Permissions
- 'ae.enchantbooks' - allows the group (player) to enchant books
- 'ae.admin' - access to all of the commands of the plugin and access to all enchants
- 'ae.repair' - allows the player (the group) to repair items by anvil
- 'ae.unenchant' - permission to 'ae_unenchant'
A few hacked clients allow the player to enchant an item up to level 1000 everything, is there a way to limit the enchantment limit on each item?
Something crossed my mind today. Maybe you could also make certain levels of the enchantment forbidable. That's just a suggestion, though.
Rewrote the whole code. Now is less laggy and easier to read. I'm going to add the features: - Forbid set enchantments (sharpness, knockback, etc...) - Permission node for every enchant
@Matt3oMiner
I'm going to re-write the whole code. As you can see, it's a total mess, so it should be more clear then. Hopefully I can do it this week!
@Deaththinius
also, please define the permissions clear, i have a very sensible permission plugin! Thank You!
@Deaththinius
My suggestion:
Add permissions for VIP's and shit, so that they can use enchantments defined by the admin. Something like: ae.enchant.sharpness Also, please add the permission: ae.bypass , which lets a Admin or vip completely bypass the antienchantment plugin! Thank You! Else: Good Plugin! Keep Going :)
@Senophoe
I'm working on it ;).
I've been using your plugin for a while, and here's a suggestion:
Add a way to stop players from getting specific enchantments. For example: a way to remove only the Fire Aspect enchant from swords, so players wouldn't be able to get it from the Enchantment Table.
@SirWilli
How do you have a modified Bukkit o_o?
I have a server with mods, so more items. So I want to disable enchantments on the mod items who I have added in the config.
@SirWilli
How exactly do you mean?
Can you add a option to add Item ID's in the config please? For Mods.
@Drakortha
Hey, guys. I just got an email saying I got Curse Premium, so I googled it, and it says I got it because I have plugins here :). This has renewed my faith in this plugin, and I'll keep updating it :)! Next update is soon! Take care and thank you!!
This still works with 1.6.2 as far as I can tell. Author, do you still watch over this plugin? It would be a shame if it broke in a future update. I believe Anti-Enchant has saved Minecraft for a lot of servers.
Thanks, Drak.
Sources - lol XD
add ID support :/
Added support to block enchanted books in the config! Added /ae_unenchant, permission node ae.unenchant
-> Unenchants an item if it's durability is 100% :)!I sincirely thought people stopped using it...I'm sorry :P I'll get on to updating it as soon as possible as I have school to attend, server to run, and another mod to update :/ I'll do it soon!
It's working with 1.5.1! Great!
Waiting for update.
