no error log. other than  "unknown command, type "Help" for help".

should also add that we've had this plugin working flawlessly for months... it was only recently it ceased to operate as before. Any help, greatly appreciated.

Has anything recently been changed on your server? Any change such as updating the bukkit versions, changing permissions or updating plugins? Also could you provide the output of /plugins?
