AdaptiveCamo
AdaptiveCamo v4.1.2 - Predator style invisibility!
About
Ever wished you could bring invisibility to your server, without every player being able to use /vanish? With this plugin, it couldn't be easier. Configure multiple camouflage suits and tinker with a few settings and you will have balanced invisibility added to your server.
AdaptiveCamo is inspired by Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, with similar features such as; camo suit being triggered by slow movement, unable to engage and stay invisible and even a little message :3
Usage
To activate the suit, your player must;
Have the permission (see Permissions)
Have an empty hand
Be wearing a configured "camo suit"
Be sneaking
Be awesome ;)

looks good :3 keep up the good work!
@CommodoreAlpha
Thank you for the comment. I have a couple other projects I have to get off my plate before I can really get into this one again, but I will.
The plugin isn't redundant. Vanilla provides invisibility via potions, and this one provides it via a certain set of armour. ;)
Brewing to gain invisibility (especially when you change the recipe for golden carrots to something far more expensive) and wearing/obtaining armour to gain invisbility are very different.
So yes, I think you should continue. And I agree that one node is fine, the slowness that comes from crouching, plus the fact that you have to be unarmed is enough of a penalty (unless you use an autosneaking plugin like me, but I impose cooldowns on it so I'm fine.)
@JazzaG
One node would suffice in my opinion.
Okay, I'm continuing with this.
Quick question; I'm thinking of removing the permissions for interacting with levers, doors etc and replacing them with one node for all. What are your opinions on this?
@JazzaG
If you could please continue to develop this, that would be great. It is different from the Invisibility potions and very useful.
An a similar note, I am receiving this error in the console when a disguised person hits another player. Instead of undisguised them, they remain disguised.

With the release of 1.4 and the invisibility potion, this plugin is slowly being made redundant. The aim of this plugin was to provide a balanced solution for server administrators giving invisibility to their players without handing out the vanish permissions. However, the invisibility potion provides just that; players have to gather the materials to make it, and there are many other plugins to prevent the brewing of certain potions with permissions (I think).
If there is still an active user base, development will continue, otherwise I will have to give it up in favour of other projects.
Good documentation. Good idea.
@JazzaG
This plugin is so amazing.
@roelmb
Thanks for that, I'll include it in the next update.

Well I stumbled on this one so I dunno if its needed to hook it :) As its possible with bukkit api :P
@roelmb
That's a good idea, I'll add that to the to-do list.
That could work, but I would have to hook into the invisibility plugin to get the status of invisibility.
Can you add some sort off timer (configurable or not). That when you have attacked or when you where attacked that you can't switch to camo for some seconds? Making it harder to get away from PvP
And it might be easy to fix the "bug" with other invisibility plugins by checking for invisibility before enabling camo if it is true notify player and cancel the camo
@jumpingpea
The person recording was using sphax.
What is ur texture pack??
JazzaG i send you my plugin list as you aske
@JazzaG
i have the latest bpermissions plugin and by the way i have no idea how to change player or server permissions on bpermissions
@youmom96
You can do this by simple taking away the permission "adaptivecamo.see". I don't know which permissions plugin you're using, but it should be something like
You'll have to read the docs for your perms plugin.
this probably sounds stupid but how could you edit the permissions of this mod because i don't want ops to see invisible people
i have version 3.0.3 of adaptive camo and minecraft 1.3.2
@miniminho
Do you mind telling me what other plugins you are using? If you don't want it to be public, then please PM me. Thanks
