This is only a client mod; as of yet there is no implementation for servers of any description. It is used to map out your adventures through Minecraft - though it is a 'client' mod, meaning it modifies only your instance of Minecraft, it will work with both single- and multi-player, mapping all worlds as you roam through them.

Melekaiah Mar 19, 2012 at 18:00 UTC - 0 likesthis is a great mod. it gives the user control over their mapping. almost like a fog of war on multiplayer server. + it saves the server admin (me) time and overall server performance. no more having to bring down servers to do a mapping. no more superlag.

Thanks for your speedy response techbrew. I greatly appreciate all the work you're doing with JourneyMap :D
Edit:
I tried JourneyMap1.5.2b5_MC1.2.3 just now and unfortunately it is still mapping over my world with my other world. I have moved the world spawns on both worlds and I'm sure they are in different locations. I restarted the server after changing the spawn points. I don't know if this matters but I am using the "World Portal" plugin to teleport between my two worlds.

It used to, but Mojang nerfed 1.2 to prevent the game client from seeing the world seed. The seed was the only reliable way I had to know when you switched worlds in Multiverse and other multi-world server mods.
I'm working on an alternative, but it won't be perfect and it's requiring a lot of code changes. Keep an eye on this post for more info: http://journeymap.techbrew.net/news/beta-workaround-for-multi-world-servers/

GuildMasterJake Mar 13, 2012 at 22:25 UTC - 0 likesAre multiple worlds not supported? When I teleport from one world to another JourneyMap just starts drawing over my previous world.
It would be awesome if you could add multiverse support. Thanks so much for JourneyMap, It's my favorite way to map!
