ZombieZ
This is a zombie survival plugin inspired by Dayz. It will have Guns and Ammo similar to Hipixel's QuakeCraft rail-guns but without using fireworks. Random chests and random spawns. If you are shot you will start to bleed until you are bandaged. Some zombies are faster while others are tougher. There is a scoreboard that shows your total kill count and what team you are on Bandits or Survivors. This plugin is playable as it is but it is still a Alpha. I need to clean up the code, add configs and permissions.
Installation
Place the .jar file in your servers plugin folder.
Items
- Gun - left click to fire you must have ammo
- Bandage - right click to heal yourself or others
- Hatchet - left click to kill zombies :)
Commands
For now there is just the one command. /zombiez - Randomly spawn 30 chests containing bandages and ammo. Each time a chest is looted it will break and respawn in another random location.

After much experimentation, A WARNING TO ALL! BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PLUGIN! IF YOU DON'T WANT IT AND YOU REMOVE IT, YOU MAYBE LEFT WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS! THIS INFECTS AND PERMANENTLY ALTERS YOUR WORLD FILES! I transferred by world into a backed up copy of my server from before the install of this plugin and the problems followed with it. It doesn't attach to another plugin, it's edits the code of the world files. I haven't found a fix for this, nor can i guarantee the problem. But if you experience it, it's likely you're in the same boat as me. And yes before anyone asks, i did start up the backed up world :). it started and runs fine with none of the problems or issues my current world now has thanks to the plugin. So while i think it's an amazing idea, Be wary!

Posted Oct 13, 2013i am having the same problems as James76931 and emetz with the plugin not completely removing it's self and leaving lasting problems. How do i fix this? Having to install another plugin over top one to fix problems is just a really a fix, is just covering up one problem with another, not to mention is doesn't fix all the issues I'm still having due to this plugin, even after removing it. I'm wondering if there is another plugin that it might interfere with, and cause the issues after removal. If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to suggestions.

Same problem after removing the plugin my server is stuck with everyone having 3 health bars. How do I get rid of this? I don't want to install another plugin to fix it unless it is temporary.

Once i released the alpha i realized server admins would like me to add many options. Please check out my other plugin it is much more configurable. ArenaRailgun You can set zombies to spawn much like a mob arena. I realize that some of the feaures of this plugin would still be missing.

The file I uploaded was only an Alpha. There are many bugs. If you would like this to be a mini-game it is possible. I have used the BattleArena API for another plugin of mine.

Posted Aug 2, 2013if you break your leg, you should be hit by a zombie if you want use the 'medic kit' due to repair you leg. I guess it's a bug?
If you have been killed by a zombie, at your respawn you won't see 3 heart's bars but only one. You should disconnect and then reconnect if you want see them again.
Should be fine if, at the death, you won't drop your invenctory, it should be deleted otherwhise after hours players will have a lot of items in his invenctory. Maybe only avoid to drop guns and/or hatcet?
I see it isn't an 'arena'. I mean you can join/play as long the server is on. Is it possible add someting like 'matches', scoprepoints to react or something else?

- when a op destroys a chest it doesnt reappear - you an toggle what worlds to activate this on multiverse or multiworld support - customize what the gun and ammo is (some servers can hurt the economy) maybe make it like crackshot so it doesnt hurt the economy -more commands to the extent of like /zombiez end will destroy all zombiez spawned chests - a kit so if a op is happy they can tp someone to a zombie world and give them /kit zombiez gives them all the stuff zombiez has
- zombiez server this could be a event plugin and a really good one this command will tp everyone on the server to the event lobby or what not i dont know how to explain
/zombiez buy 1 this could buy a ticket or a pass to play zombiez event for 1 round after death it can spawn someone to a given location :) and you can customize everything i posted above
also i never check but curious is there chest duplication? not sure deleted before checking someone wanna check besides that fun plugin

The fall distance before you break your legs will be configurable. I will be adding a command that will allow ops to add items to the chests random item list from in-game.

Posted Jul 25, 2013@SideEffectxDev It is part of the plugin. The server in the video above is only running the ZombieZ plugin. I will be making player health configurable. I added the extra health because I set the server to hard mode so zombies would be able to break doors.
