With this plugin, players can buy and use a workbench, an enchantment table, chests, furnaces, brewing stands and a bunch of other tools. Completely virtually. Accessible by chat commands.

Required dependencies: Vault, WorldEdit.
Optional dependencies: ProtocolLib
(see Configuration/Materializer)

Notice

According to the Bukkit rules, I have to make you aware of:

Quote:

This plugin uses the Curse API to check for updates automatically.

To disable update checking, set 'check-update' to 'false' in 'plugins/VirtualPack/config.yml'.

    • Brewing Stand
    • Enderchest
  • An Uncrafter (Opposite of Workbench)
  • A Materializer (Convert item stacks into others)
  • A Trash
  • Sending items between players
  • Statistics and info pages for everything

Admin-side (configurable) features:

  • MySQL support (data is automatically converted when switching from file)
  • Importing (converting) data from:
    • AlphaChest
    • Backpack
    • ChestKeeper
    • VirtualChest

To Do

  • Cross-server functionality
  • (Maybe) Custom smelt/brewing recipes/fuel
  • Bind tools to blocks/items

Installation

  • Download the VirtualPack.jar and place in in you plugins folder.
  • Install Vault the same way.
  • Install WorldEdit. If you don't want to install it as a plugin, simply place the jar in plugins/VirtualPack. (I need WorldEdit because of the utilities that are bundled with it, and I need those to register the commands.)
  • Install a Vault-compatible permissions plugin (see the Vault project page).
  • Now either install a Vault-compatible economy plugin or set the "economy" value in the VirtualPack config to "false".
  • Install ProtocolLib if you need it.
  • Start your server.
  • Maybe read the configuration page.
  • Have fun.

Importing other plugins' saves

Supported plugins:

  • AlphaChest
  • Backpack
  • ChestKeeper
  • VirtualChest

Alright people, it's too much. Do NOT ask me to:

  • Change /v because it is used by vanish already. Change it yourself in the config.
  • Update the plugin to a new Minecraft version. I'll do it as soon as possible anyway.

If you do one of the above, you don't deserve to talk to me and I won't do anything else than sending you this video.

Alright cool, I figured out what was wrong, pretty much after I imported my players chest from VirtualChest, the player had to open their chests with VirtualPack at least once for me to able to view them as an admin. Thanks for the new dev build as well, really appreciate active plugin developers.

I have every vpack.all permission enabled in the group I am trying to execute the command.

I'm not sure whether you mean you have the permission or the owner of the chest does. Because he would need it. However, since this is stupid, I just changed it so admins can access everything (dev build #73). :)

Hi, I've read almost everything on this plugin so I don't look like an idiot when I ask this but when I try to check my players chests (/v ad use [player] c [1/2/3] etc...) It returns with the message 'You're not allowed to use chests'. I do not have superperms enabled and I have every vpack.all permission enabled in the group I am trying to execute the command. I am using default config and the chests are imported from virtualchest. I just want to be able to see the players chests in-game via command.

EDIT: I have tried enabling superperms but i still get the message. Also the player who owns the chest I am trying to access is online.

I assume you have read the group config option.
For your desired group, for things you can have only one of (like workbench), just set the price to "0". For things you can have more than one of, use the "start" node.

Interesting idea, but a bit complicated to implement and not really required. I'll do it if I have too much time some day, ok? :)

    Not exactly slots, but rows.
    Config: tools.chest.size

Any way to limit the amount of slots in a /chest?

Great Plugin! I think it would be cool though if you could bind the command to a block. so that when you buy it from the virtual shop it gives you a block (like a leather piece or something) and when you right click with it, it opens the virtual pack. Just a suggestion to make the plugin a bit cooler :)

Can you remove /v? it's annoying because We use /vanish for that and I would just prefer to stick with /Chest command... plsplsplsplspslps pretty pwease :)
